Meisterstuck Classique Fountain Pen
The Meisterstück was initially introduced as a Montblanc pen in 1924, symbolizing a pen of exceptional quality. These pens feature 14-carat gold nibs and a cartridge/converter system that allows for versatility in ink usage. Adorning the top of the cap is an illustration of the snow-covered peak of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc. The number 4810 engraved on the nib signifies the impressive height of the mountain, which stands at 4810 meters.
Masters of Art Homage to Gustav Klimt Limited Edition Fountain Pen
The MONTBLANC Masters of Art Collection honors the quest for perfection in art. The Masters of Art Homage to Gustav Klimt Limited Edition 888 celebrates Gustav Klimt's active commitment to the Vienna Secession and features design highlights from his Beethoven Frieze. The relief-like solid Au 750 yellow gold overlay on the platinum-coated cap, with its spirals and vertical lines symbolizing the strings of a lyre, is a reference to the golden ornamentation of the Beethoven Frieze. Two-dimensional lines inspired by the facade reliefs of the Secession building shine against the matte background of the platinum-coated cap and barrel. The combination of solid Au 750 yellow gold and platinum-coated elements on the cap and barrel echo the experimental and luxurious materials. The interplay is enriched by a malachite cabochon in the cone. In recognition of Klimt's achievements for the Vienna Secession, the solid Au 750 gold inlay on the barrel bears his Secession monogram with the initials GK. The clip is specially designed with reference to Gustav Klimt’s Pallas Athene. The handcrafted solid Au 750 yellow gold nib is adorned with finely engraved graphic elements that form geometric patterns.
