  I live in 32 Degrees base layers all winter. They're super cheap and super soft and comfortable. So far they're looking good after 3 years of heavy use.

  I've been wearing 32⁰ cool. By nature of being a lightweight layer, they are thin and as such unlikely bifl. But I've had mine for at least several years and I'm fully satisfied. In fact, I have their heat and cool gear from multiple purchases. I like it all and recommend it to anyone who needs thermals.

  How do synthetic base layers compare to merino wool base layers?

  Check sierra. I got Smartwool and terramar merino sets there for under $50 each and recently saw similar prices. The terramar has pilled a bit after heavy consistent use for 2 winters, the Smartwool has not. That said, I do also really like my synthetic sets from 32 degrees cool. They cost me under $20/set and look brand new after 3 years. As has been mentioned they do get a lot stinkier than the merino.

  I work in Agriculture and have gotten several years out of my 32 degrees stuff, it does a great job as long as I stay dry. The fleece layers are bulky but warm.

  Little luxuries or upgrades that you made this year that makes your everyday better?

  I never believed it until I hit up my recent thrift shop, but second hand. I’m a woman but I look in the men’s racks. I got a 100% Italian cashmere J Crew sweater for $25. I also love the brand Sézane. They’re French and the quality and craftsmanship is unmatched and pretty fairly priced. Free returns if you’re not sure on sizing. Massimo Duti is also another good option (made in Italy and solid quality) and the Zara website sells their stuff. Also, most Scandinavian brands are high quality. There’s a Swedish H&M outside the US called Weekday and some of their basics are solid. Got a 100% wool sweater for 50€ and it keeps me so warm. Downside is they don’t have stores in the US :/ . I also try to get reformation at sample sales. If the weather is super cold, I’ll wear a 32 Degrees (Costco) or Uniqlo base shirt. Typically $5-7 and add infinite heat! I’ve tried Quince but I found the quality lacking.

  This! My office is freezing all the time. I bought some base layers and now I wear that with a pair of slacks and a shirt/sweater/blouse and it is so better than wearing 4 layers. The 2 pack 32 degrees long sleeve shirts which are $10 are soft, comfortable, and regulate my temp nicely.

  32 Degrees has some of the best and affordable outerwear. It’s also super comfortable. Worth a try please support them I’ve never seen prices like theirs with the matched quality.

  Looking for a winter coat

  Eddie Bauer Stadium Coat or Alpha Industries N-3B slim fit. Wear a cheap base layer (both top and bottom) from Uniqlo or 32 degrees and you should be good for 0F temps. We had 5F temps a couple days ago. I was out in my t-shirt and Jeans with the Eddie Bauer Stadium Coat and was toasty. Kinda felt like out in the open wearing a warm blanket. I also have Alpha Industries Slim Fit N-3B. Tested that one out too in 5F temp and it was equally warm.  You can find the EB stadium coat for $199 right now. Alpha N-3B is $250, but you can get 30% discount if you qualify via govx, bringing it down to 175$. My last Alpha N-3B lasted me 10 years before I lost it during move. Don't spend 3-5 times the money on other things like NF, or Patagonia or Arc'teryx or any of the other expensive brands.

  32 degrees. I burn hot, prefer soft textures and need my white tees to be light they are always layered under another shirt. So an athletics brand like 32 degrees is perfect for me. They are affordable and come in mutli packs

  Long Leg Boxer Briefs

  32 degrees had what they called "bike shorts" at the time. They are just like their other mesh boxer briefs but longer. I got 1 pair 2 years ago and haven't seen them since. They also sold compression shorts last year or the year before. Those are my favorite. They dont move at all and are really comfortable. I keep checking 32 degrees every few weeks because they obviously have seasonal stuff, but sometimes I buy cool shit that I love and they stop selling it.

  Best Boxer Briefs For Men

  Underrated comment! Tried Thieves, Duluth, Polo, Banana, and 32. By far 32 was my fav. I’m 6’1” 185lbs and 33” waist. The size L are easily fitted well and if anything like their T-shirts, will last years. I do prefer the slippery feel of the nylon versus the mesh though.

  Request for long sleeve, hooded t-shirts recommendations

  I usually layer a light long sleeve hoody. My favorites are: REI Sahara Shade Hoodie and 32 Degrees Long Sleeve Hooded TShirt (cheap) There are “better” ones but they’re usually significantly more expensive than the options I listed.

  What’s everyone’s go to for pants

  I’ve gotten about five years out of some wrangler synthetic cargo pants like this that sell at target and elsewhere. Very lightweight and can pass for cal while being pretty stain resistant for moderate household chores. Out of four pairs, with one worn nearly everyday I’ve had minor hole, no permanent stains and only recently some areas are starting to pill. I’ll probably be replacing them soon if I find the material is the same. Also, 32degrees has some “sweatpant like” jeans that don’t feel like denim at all but so far have the ruggedness of normal jeans. Worth experimenting for $20.

  Options (Articles of Clothing) When Layering For Cold/Windy Weather?

  I like 32 Heat as a base layer top and bottom. Then add a long.sleve t shirt top. Then whatever you want for your outer appearance shirt. (Hoodie, sweater, dress shirt. Then cost scarf had gloves. If your pants don't provide enough warmth, put snow pants over. Good socks and approwarm shoes/boots

  What's your most comfortable and durable piece of clothing?

  I have a bunch of racerback tank tops from 32⁰ Degrees, and while I'm not a fan of synthetic, I love those shirts, and they've held up well. I still have the first one I ever bought like 5 years ago & there's no damage or snagging.
