What Is The Best Water Fiter Or Filtration System For Home?
The APEC ROES 50 is basically peace of mind in a box it filters out up to 99% of the bad stuff like chlorine, lead and even fluoride giving you fresh clean water straight from your tap. It can make around 50 gallons a day, the filters are easy to swap and you don’t need to be a plumber to set it up. If you want safe water that actually tastes good, this system does the job.

Water filter options with long lasting filters
Just buy a reverse osmosis system for you kitchen. I got the brand APEC and installed it myself. Works really well and it's not expensive. I used a Brita pitcher for years, I regret not changing sooner

What Is The Best Water Fiter Or Filtration System For Home?
First, decide if you want filtered water or reverse-osmosis water. I've used both, and I settled on filtered water. RO water can be great, but it creates some waste, and you should add minerals back in. RO is more expensive and higher maintenance. Look at something like the APEC WFS-1000. You want a water filter housing that takes STANDARD water filter cartridges. Please DON'T buy anything that takes a proprietary filter cartridge!

Best Water Filter to buy
Been using an APEC RO system without the alkaline stage for ~4 years now and it's held up fine. Replacing parts is super easy. If you're at all unsure about any contaminants that might be in the water, go with RO. Standard carbon filters are mostly for taste.

- Bosch 800 dishwasher. Certainly no dishwasher is BuyItForLife, but this is my first one that actually legit works really well, and it's quiet. - APEC reverse osmosis system. Was $160 (normally $200). Installed it myself. So much better than refilling the stupid Brita I used for many years

Brita Water Filter Pitcher... Any Alternatives??
This. I used a Brita for many many years. Finally after buying my own place two years ago I wanted something different. I have REALLY hard water where I live. Local water companies wanted like $1,000+ to install their reverse osmosis system. I bought a reputable model (APEC) on Amazon for $160 (normally $200). Had a plumber lined up to install it for $400, but after he rescheduled I worked up the courage to do it myself. Took about 2-3 hours (as I was very careful and took my time) If was still worth it just to not have to refill that stupid Brita ever again. One of my best purchases for my home

I would look into APEC water to see if they have anything that would work for you. Their products are really easy to install and customer service has been great in my experience.

Looking for whole home water filtration.
We have PFAS in our water (town regularly has to notify about this) so our best solution was a RO filter. In our research, we found [APEC](https://www.freedrinkingwater.com/) to be the best for the type of filtration we need. Test your water or ask your town for their tests so you know what you’re treating. If it’s just for taste you don’t need a five stage filter with hyperfine filtration like the RO.
