We have the Lincoln logs my mom had her classroom for who knows how long. Also LEGOs that were not only my husband’s, but all of his older siblings as well. We have books and Barbie’s that were mine and my mom’s as well.

My mom saved a handful of clothes that had been mine, and a wooden doll cradle that her dad had built for her, that I also used. She also saved a child sized rocking chair. The clothes were gifted to me when I had my daughter, and she gave the chair and doll cradle to her for Christmas one year when she was 2 or 3. She also kept some favorite books, and my Barbies. Daughter is now in high school. I also kept the same clothes my mom had saved, plus a couple other special clothing items. We still have the cradle and the chair, and I also kept some favorite books, and a cute wooden alligator thing that helped her learn how to walk. We have baby blankets made by family members. As she got older, she was into How to Train you Dragon and we got a whole Playmobile set so all that stuff is in a bin. We also kept her American Girl doll.
