Best Noise Cancelling Earbuds for Sleeping, Calls, Airplane - Recommendations on Reddit
I agree with both of the above posters and would like to add the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 into the ring as a solid alternative if you need a wraparound style. They have a very similar performance, maybe they're a bit bassier as I assume they're tuned for music a little bit more than for conversation. Finally, they have all of the same native Apple functionality as the AirPods Pro. Very similar product, different flavor. I own both.

Why do charging cables die so easily?
Apple cables suck, but Beats (who are owned by Apple) make great cables.

If you want strong bass but also solid connectivity, the 'Beats Fit Pro' work well. The battery is decent and they don’t fall out easily.

What are the Best Earbuds for Sleeping Now?
I used a headband with headphones built into it! I tried ear buds, but for whatever reason when I’d roll over, it would hit a button and it would call someone random in my contacts list!!! People I totally forgot about and haven’t spoken to would get a call at like 2 am! So I switched to a soft over the head, head band and play white noise with that and it drowns out whatever noises. The loop didn’t work for me, Beats over the head headphones work, but are too clunky. Jlab in ear ear buds called people. It’s not buy it for life I guess. Cheap enough where you can roll around and not damage it. I can post a link if you want

In ear headphones. Plz help. Tired of replacing constantly.
I use Beats Pros. They have the little hook on top that keeps them in ear. I carry two pair. Battery good for around 6ish hours. I work telecom solo and I spend a fuck tin of time with earbuds in. Hate Apple all you want but the Beats are great

I bear the Beats Flex. There cheap at like $70 and each pair lasts me about 1.5 years of daily 8+hr use. The battery is ok I have to charge to make it a full 12 hour shift. But charges quick over lunch. Plus from apple Store you can get apple care on them for 2 years and get a free replacement when they go bad

I wear them to ride motorcycles. Caveat is I like the ones that wired together. Best sound is Shure se215. for quality at a good price the Beats Flex are great.

I’ve got the beats fit pro wireless ear buds for a couple years and have been pleased with the sound quality, battery life, and weather proofing. Not sure how they’d hold up under the conditions you’re describing.

Wireless earbuds that still let you hear outside?
Here are the ones I’ve tried. Shokz- great headphones. It sits next to your ear rather than over. Forever tethered and that can get annoying, especially if you’re wearing a high collared shirt. Shokz now has a non tethered version - I always see them returned at REI so do with that information what you will. Beats headphones - the ones that have an arm that go around your ear. I put the clip over my ear then let it dangle in front of my canal. If I want total block of ambient, I put them in like they’re intended. Three different soundcore - all very affordable especially if you get them refurbished on eBay. All controllable sound quality and controls through their app. Super super long battery life. I think I’m a soundcore person now, the ROI is just much higher with these considering their price, the way I use them, and my perceived sound quality. 1. Soundcore c30i (there are upgraded versions of it) - I really liked these they rest on the flappy part of your ear and project the sound towards the ear canal. Great sound and control. less than $50 cheap. 2. Soundcore v30i. Love these, they’re the older model but I like these because they adjust on the arm itself so you can make it more or less ambient to outside sound. Sits on top of the ear. Also less than $50 if you get them refurbished. I use these at home. 3. Soundcore Aerofit pro. I use these for work - people say I sounds great on calls and don’t hear my coworkers (I work in pretty busy and noisy office. Great sound - dare I say too great, I get overwhelmed sometimes. It sits on top of the canal so you can hear if you need to (not adjustable). These ran closer to $100 - even refurbished. They come with a strap if you want to tether them. The battery life on these are crazy - I charge once a week and I’m on those all day 5 days a week between calls and music.

Anyone know any good bluetooth earbuds that still have a wire connecting them?
[Beats Flex](https://www.beatsbydre.com/earbuds/beats-flex/MYMG2/flame-blue). 12 hours of playback. Big physical controls. Compatable with Android but also has the Apple W1 chip for smart pairing and "Find My" functions. Funky colors.

Looking for bluetooth earbuds that aren't gonna crap out a month outside of warranty
No AirPods? Unfortunate because they are by far the most reliable… Unless you go for the Powerbeats Pro 2, which are essentially AirPods Pro 2 on the inside but with better Android compatibility, battery life, and a more secure fit for working out.

Looking for bluetooth earbuds that aren't gonna crap out a month outside of warranty
I was a diehard earbud for years. I liked sound peats and Jaybird. After dealing with all the issues I’m sure you’re aware of, I snagged some beats-flex and they are awesome. I don’t think I’ll be going back to buds any times soon, these last longer and are far more durable

I've had my beats studio head phones since 2014 and have only replaced the ear pads every couple of years. if you are not to concerned about sound quality ( i think they sound find) i would recommomend these.

The ultimate pair of earbuds!
Earbuds are not BIFL But in any case have you tried the beats fit pro? It has a little arm too and lots of people find it helpful for staying in the ears at the gym. I recently did a project analyzing reddit data on wireless earbuds - you can see a breakdown of what people have said about the beats fit pro here [https://redditrecs.com/wireless-earbuds/model/beats-apple-fit-pro/](https://redditrecs.com/wireless-earbuds/model/beats-apple-fit-pro/)

The ultimate pair of earbuds!
Powerbeats Pro are awesome earbuds for exercise/outdoor activity. Built tough and sound great. Most importantly, they stay in place—if you don't mind eat hooks. I have the older generation, but they just released a new version with more features. I'm sure they are just as good.

Looking for Bluetooth Earbuds (android phone).
Bought some Beats Studio buds about 5 years ago. They're still going strong, even survived an accidental trip to the washing machine.

What’s one item you bought that way outperformed its price?
Beats Pill XL. I bought one in 2013 I think. They were recalled because apparently the battery had issues. But I never returned mine and am still using it to this day. I'll let you know if I blow up

Need a reliable pair of earbuds that won't die on me.
For me, it’s AirPods for calls and the Sony over the other headphones for everything else. Maybe some beats if you want to have volume while you’re at the gym, but I don’t want noise cancellation from your earbuds, and I want over the ear headphones to be what I would want on a plane and listening to music in a coffee shop. Also, for what it’s worth, I recently realized I could add AppleCare to my AirPods for like 15 bucks a year, and I have no clue that it ever ends.

I've had my Beats Powerbeats Pro for years and they are still going strong. They are aimed at exercise, but they are very comfy and can be worn for long periods of time.
