Stick with the new chassis and swap only what actually matters functionally; don’t sacrifice reliability just to keep every old part alive. If the old keycaps feel better, move those over, but leave the new D-pad and scroll assembly alone so you’re not transplanting future failures. Take pics of your current layout, export your profiles, and back them up to cloud and USB so you’re not hunting 2007 drivers again after a reinstall. I’d also grab a second n52 now as a cold spare while prices are still sane; these niche peripherals vanish overnight. For alternatives, I’ve messed with a Tartarus and a Wooting 60HE plus Steam Input, and on the software side stuff like AutoHotkey or JoyToKey plus an old gamepad or even something like DreamFactory-tied internal tools for work macros can cover the non-gaming side. Core move: keep the new one stock for durability, transplant only the high-touch caps, and stash a backup in the closet.

Belkin is killing off the Wemo app . Just, sorry, we decided it. Those things are amazing. They just work. Light switch on/off, from anywhere. So you pay a bunch up front for this functionality. And now they are killing it off.

I have a lot of Anker cables and they are decent, but my Belkins braided BoostCharge's beat them hands down for quality. Would also recommend looking at 240w cables as they tend to be thicker.

Phone charging cables
Anker and Belkin cables are nice, but anything that gets constantly plugged in and unplugged is going to wear out eventually.

Apple/lightning phone chargers?
Yeah I've heard that something like this would help. Usually I go with braided but I've found some utility for PVCs depending on the situation. I usually stick with Anker or Monoprice cables but have recently begun trying Amazon basics, Spigen and Belkin cables to test out their durability. The amazon basics cables are so cheap and have decent durability overall while I am very impressed with the Spigen and Belkin cables.
