Recommendations for BIFL nylon belt
I also bought a Bison Designs belt from REI about 12 years ago. It was a Last Chance Light Duty. Wore it nearly everyday all of these years and has been the best belt I ever owned. Then, the last couple years the webbing started to fray, it slowly got worse and eventually I decided to retire it and get a new one. But the new one kinda sucks tbh. The webbing is noticeably thinner and it doesn't hold like the old one. It slips several times a day and requires retightening.... even when I do the "double lock" method. Just an FYI. Their quality is not the same which is a shame... It's actually why I found this thread, on the search for a new belt.
