  What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?

  You can - I'm too lazy for this. I do however separate passwords and TOTP codes between 2 apps (passwords in 1Password which is not free but worth it for me) and TOTP codes in Bitwarden (requires the paid version of Bitwarden but it's $10 per year so not a biggie).

  What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?

  I got caught with that leak, too. Took me *hours* to go through and change all my most important passwords, and I still lost a couple obscure accounts. That was when I started self-hosting BitWarden and I just have like six backups scattered around my house and the cloud.

  What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?

  All the apps that I have purchased unlimited license for have stopped being maintained. The last one was LastPass and then they got data leaked. Closed my account, changed all my passwords, and went to BitWarden, way happier with it.

  Buy it for life digital products?

  I gave up on 1P after 11 years due to the subscription model and the fact that self-hosting via your own servers was becoming less of an option. Self hosting Bitwarden and after 1.5 years it’s a great replacement.
