  BIFL Cowboy Boots will cost a pretty penny and I disagree with a lot of the comments here. Tecovas is perfect for people who wear their boots a few times a month or every now and then. I disagree with them being the “SHEIN” of the cowboy boots world. They’re still made of decent quality just because the materials that boots are made of in general will last longer and take more effort than your regular pair of running shoes. Lucchese is recommended everywhere and I cannot recommend it honestly. They are no longer made to quality like their older lines and I’ve noticed plenty of quality control issues with mine to the point that I returned them and swore it off. Their customer service is fine but their return policies and warranty and online/corporate service is horrendous. I had to call the brick and mortar store to deal with all my issues because the back-end corporate side was basically unreachable. It also took nearly 2 months to get a refund for a $950 pair of boots. Ariat, Stetson, Boot Barn, etc. are all similar to Tecovas imo. If you want Cowboy Boots for real work and regular use these brands and above are not meant for it. I would go with Rios of Mercedes or BlackJack boots. You can also get custom ones made that will last a long time.

  I got my first pair of Blackjack boots and I no longer have any interest in boots from different manufacturers. I still get shitkickers from Double H or Abilene that I see as semi disposable for stomping around in mud, blood, and shit, but blackjacks have me covered for everything else.

  Anderson Bean, Lucchese, and Blackjack will last for eons. There are also a lot of custom makers who make boots that last forever.
