Best pot and pan set for a new homeowner?
Brands are fairly immaterial if they are made properly but I feed a family of four amazing meals with: 2 quart stainless clad pot with lid 4 quart stainless pot with lid 8 quart stainless pot with lid 12" cast iron skillet 12" stainless skillet with lid 10" carbon steel skillet 8 quart enamel dutch oven I want a 12" carbon steel skillet with a lid, but I don't really need it I also have a griddle built into my gas stove that I use a ton for steaks, breakfasts, tortillas, smash burgers, fried rice, fajitas, pork chops, etc. so if you're doing lots of those either consider a big griddle or a Blackstone outside. But that is the totality of the skillets I use. Absolutely no non-stick, Teflon or ceramic, no copper (too much maintenance), and nothing single purpose (no paella pans).

What purchase changed your habit?
Purchasing a blackstone has really cleaned up our eating habits. We actually want to cook at home because we are excited at all the different recipes we can make on the blackstone. Plus, it’s fun to cook on.

What's a good pan to buy to make Indian food like Dosa and Roti and even crepes? Any brands would be helpful. Dishwasher safe preferred but not mandatory.
ninja sizzle or blackstone. My indian neighbors use their blackstone damn near daily.
