First of all we’re talking about online furniture retailers that service the entire country.. can you name a company that fits that box that doesn’t make some things in China? No. Second, Pottery barn makes a lot of furniture in Hickory. Smaller things are made in China/ Asia, yes, but so are Blu dot items. Hickory NC is the furniture manufacturing capital of the world. Any furniture coming out of that area is made by a working class that is highly experienced in that trade.

Lol “[insert brand name]’s quality used to be better 10 years ago” should be the official catch phrase of Reddit. I have bought from them recently and they still make very nice products. Don’t be a snob. I would agree that Blu dot is better but it’s not by a mile and my point is that when it comes to online your options are few.

You really need to understand how PB is now being manufactured and how it’s built—and their quality isn’t anywhere near what it was 10 years ago.. Cute as it can be, It’s not furniture for the long haul. Agree with the comment below—Blu Dot is better made than PB.

Blu Dot is higher quality than Pottery Barn IMO. FWIW, there's quality to be found on Wayfair, it's just nearly impossible to browse the site by "quality" since the vast majority of the catalog is white labeled. Their merchandising strategy is to curate products by style, so manufacturers and suppliers get widely distributed amongst a bunch of white label brands.
