  #1 baby on the way. Which stroller would you recommend for a newborn that can ideally be used until age 3?

  I loved carrying baby in a carrier until he got too heavy, so we didn’t use the stroller as much as I thought we would. Once he started being too heavy we love our bob jogging stroller because our sidewalks are full of cracks and bumps. We borrowed a yoyo for a trip to Asia but would never walk around here with it.

  Bob jogging stroller! It can easily navigate grass and rocks. Get the infant car seat adapter. Mine is still going strong 5.5 years later. It’s huge but it’s awesome.

  BOB! Bought mine second hand 80$ and it’s been a life saver because where we moved has sidewalks but zero curb ramps. The off roading capability is also fantastic for the beach. 2nd hand BOB is where it’s at OP! 👏

  Agree on the Bob, or if you can find a used Burley solstice (they no longer make this), we’ve used that for 3 years and it’s still going strong!

  Babyjogger. Even easily converts to two kids while being relatively compact. Thule or BOB if you’re active, but they are big.

  Here’s my experience: With my first kid, I bought a city mini gt and the adapters to use my carseat with it. This stroller doesn’t have much support for a baby less than 6 months old. However, most people use a combo of baby wearing and using the carseat for those first 6 months anyways. I still love this stroller and my oldest is 8. It pushes and steers very smoothly and folds up compactly and easily. Also, we are tall parents and the handle adjusts to be comfortable for us. When my second kid came along, we bought a mockingbird double stroller with a bassinet for newborns (this is a Vista dupe). I picked this one because of the large basket and the seats being in front of each other, instead of side by side, thinking it would fit through doors and aisles better. First, I used the bassinet like 3 times before my baby out grew it. I loved the large basket and all of the seat position options were cool. Being able to lay the seat down totally flat was nice for naps. However, I wouldn’t recommend this type of stroller because it’s a pain to fold up and the seats are small and kids grow out of them quickly. Very quickly, their legs got long and they were very squished stacked on top of each other whoever was in back would repeatedly kick or hit the seat in front of them. It also becomes hard to push and steer when there is a lot of weight in the front seat. We used it for a couple of years, but my older kid quickly grew out of fitting in it. Yes, she was able to walk when she was 3.5 but when you have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and you’re trying to shop at Walmart, life is much easier when you can contain them. When my kids got too long for the mocking bird, I bought a Bob side by side. We still use this when we go to theme parks. This stroller is a beast. It has a lot of room for bigger kids, decent basket (but not huge), folds pretty easily (but not compactly), and pushes/steers really easily. My only complaint with this stroller is that since it’s three wheeled, my older kids don’t have a lot of space for their feet, and the space is shared with each other. It’s also huge. We also bought a pockit stroller for airplane travel and I would pass on that one. It was totally rickety and junky and I hated pushing it. Ultimately, my favorite stroller and the one we never sold was the first one, City Mini GT. I would still buy that one and then I’d also buy the double version and call it a day. My only only complaint with this stroller is the basket is not very big. Good luck! Baby gear is a whole beast. One of my ultimate best purchases was the stokke trip trap high chair. I have one for each kid and plan on it being an heirloom. We still use them everyday with no plans of stopping anytime soon and my oldest is 8. I was sick over the price at first but now I think it’s worth every penny.

  I have been using a Bob stroller for 5 years with 2 kids. Get the infant carseat attachment and you are all set

  For sure the bob. We got a used double (because I could never accept a stroller would be worth that cost) when we had third kid so I could have two in the stroller and one on a buggy board. A few months later, we also got a (also used) single because it was that good. And also so we could go running without one person pushing three kids and the other pushing none. They have infant car seat adapters, but I can't really comment on them since we used convertibles since day 1. I know a lot of people with the infant car seats in a bob. It looks like just a click in type of deal. It doesn't recline 100%, but it does go pretty far down. Far enough that I was comfortable putting newborn in one. Still using both, although mostly the single now (hold on to that single - you'll use it again when the older kids outgrow the stroller). Three year old easily fits, and 6 year old can fit if needed. Super easy to push, even one handed. But get it used for like $1-200

  BOB! And you can find great deals on them secondhand on marketplace . We have a single and double bobs and our three boys put them through the ringer and we’ve done hundreds of trail miles and they’re so durable

  This is honestly the way to go. Get a stroller that will fit your needs as an infant, then figure out what you like and need in an older kid stroller. I have an almost 5 year old with cerebral palsy and low vision- I have used strollers far longer than most people due to this (and strollers are more compact than a wheelchair, especially when not needed full time). In infancy, we opted for something with full recline that could fit all out stuff, including stuff for older kid. We didn't like using car seat attachment for more than a quick trip. We learned pretty quick that we didn't love the big bulky stroller and preferred smaller, compact ones, especially indoors like stores or doctors offices. However, most of those are not super infant friendly. Right now we have a GB Pockit and a Bugaboo Butterfly that are our daily drivers (one in each parents' car). The Butterfly is our go to, as it's the widest seat for a compact, however, there isn't enough sunshade or recline for an infant. We also have a used Bob we got for doing trails near our house, because it can handle all terrain and is so easy to push. We have tried others and then sold or given to friends. There are places that you can rent strollers to give them a legitimate try for like a week, but I would highly recommend getting something for your current needs because your needs will most likely change.

  My BOB is 11 years old. Great stroller, zero issues. I passed on a bugaboo for my second child (in-laws wanted to gift one) because it was just wasteful with how well the bob works.

  I second the BOB if you have an active outdoor lifestyle! Probably not the best option if you need to be taking it onto public transit or in and out of your car often since it's quite bulky, but boy is it meant to last. And the weight limit is 75 lbs so my 6 year old has even used it occasionally 😅

  Our BOB stroller has been fantastic. 8 years old and still using it with the youngest baby  Its literally never been out of use because I keep having kids lol. I use a stroller adapter for when they're still in the infant car seat. It's a bigger stroller because it's designed for long distance running and off-roading. We've literally been up mountains with it.

  Nuna double stroller: anyone have any long-term experience with one?

  Just grab something from the trash. Just this weekend I found two double strollers in the curbside garbage. One was a BOB revolution is great shape. The other a Baby Jogger City mini double or something. Both in nice condition,high quality devices and will last several more years. If you get a nice one for free it tales a lot of worry out of whether it will last or not.

  Stroller Recommendations

  We had a Nuna that was good, but then I rented a Bob jogger on vacation and fell in love with it. I ended up buying a Thule Jogger which is going strong with kid number 2, but the Bob is a great choice too. Joggers are just better with different terrain, hop curbs easy, and are simple. The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something and had too many plastic parts

  Stroller Recommendations

  We have the Bob Revolution flex 3. It's great on all terrain. It goes up and down curbs so easily that my baby never woke up while doing that. I got it for under $400but this was 2 years ago and I had to watch sales. With a 15% registry discount you can get it for under $500

  We've taken a Bob stroller to Disneyland via airplane. They gate check it no problem; buy a stroller bag for it. We got a used one via Facebook Marketplace that's been great.
