I’d go with the Bowflex SelectTech 552s, super easy to adjust, solid build, and go up to 52.5 lbs each. If you want something more compact and metal instead of plastic, check out NÜOBELLs, they feel closest to real gym dumbbells and switch weights instantly.

what adjustable dumbbell set should I buy for life?
I got my [Powerblocks Elite exp](https://www.reddit.com/user/Embarrassed_Fly_9569/comments/1ndrko0/best_adjustable_dumbbells_to_buy/) 6 months ago and they are still the best one i got after bowflex 552. would recommend it highly for home workouts. Also [Nuobells](https://www.reddit.com/user/Embarrassed_Fly_9569/comments/1ndrko0/best_adjustable_dumbbells_to_buy/) are great option too.

$350 for 90lb USA Powerblocks
Very cool. I have the Bowflex Selectech which also goes to 90lbs. I consider those BIFL, too. Exercise weights are a beautifully simple tool :,)
