  With a new style of water bottle popping up every year, Which one have you stuck with?

  I have a tall Bubba stainless with an open lid. I use it mostly for water, but coffee or other beverages don’t linger after washing. It has an amazing ability to insulate, so much that something like hot tea can stay hot for hours. I also enjoy that it’s tapered to a smaller size at bottom but is not prone to tipping.

  I have different ones I’ve picked-up over the years, each has a specific purpose; especially the coffee cups. I learned years ago to not cross contaminate between coffee and non-coffee receptacles. * Water cup: 30oz Yeti tumbler (free à la work) * Coffee cup: 20oz Otterbox tumbler (free à la a buddy who used to own my local outfitter). My backup is a 14oz freebie traveler mug from an activity I’ve been helping run since 2014 (cup is from 2015). * Ice tea cup: 20oz insulated Bubba tumbler * Water bottle: Nalgene (I cycle two — 2002 Philmont one, “normal” one I picked-up before hiking Sandia Peak in 2018) and a Guyot Designs 24oz stainless water bottle (gotten around 2012)

  I do love my wide mouth nalgene, but it doesn't insulate. For about 10+ years I've been using a Bubba (looks like a mini keg, but way taller) I have put this thing thru so much abuse and its still water-tight. I kayak, I mountain bike, ive dropped it down 400m of rock-face by accident and its still water tight. The one draw back, it has really poor grip, the whole thing is almost slick, but ive taken to using the colourful elastic bands from vegetables around it for added grip when wet. Currently there's 4 blue, one giant purple and one long yellow ones. BTW, dont put carbonated liquids in, it'll burst the top, but for coffee/tea/water, I love the thing.

  I have had a big 1.5L Bubba brand metal thermos style waterbottle with an attached screw on cap that I had for a out 6 years now. It keeps cold things cold and hot things hot. Does not fit in my car cup holder but its everything I need.

  Bubba 64oz chug jug. I go through about 3 a day, so smaller ones won't cut it. Bought it years ago and sticker bombed it. I clean it regularly by dropping a dishwasher detergent tab into it with 130 degree water. I shake it like a baby, then scrub it out with a bottle brush. I don't go for fads, I go for practical. Only purchase I've made since is new O-rings for the lid since they get gross.

  Bought a 40oz bubba bottle years ago. Holds ice for a day or 2. Could probably knock someone out with it full.

  Water bottle with covered straw lid

  I have ab owala, and whime I do love it, I'm not favoring it as much anymore. It's more prone to spilling than the type in your picture. The bigger size doesn't fit in car cup holders. It only locks when the handle is pushed down. (I think the new design may be different). The straw design is completely different. I've noticed I drink more from an external straw. This is my everyday bottle [Bubba radiant ](https://a.co/d/7zWvPnf) I've never had an issue with the straw cover.
