  Where do you buy hotel-quality bed sheets and pillows without spending a fortune? I want my bed to feel like a Marriott stay.

  Linen is generally cooler than sateen IME. We’ve got a few linen sets for summer. Using them now. Some are thicker than others and some lint a helluva lot in the dryer. Buffy’s hemp linen sheets feel robust but they’re not as soft as Quince or Parachute. I hated the Brooklinen set we tried.

  Comforter or bed system for a hot, sweaty sleeper (with a not sweaty partner)?

  Hot sleeper here too, and I’ve been through the same struggle needing that cozy, weighted feeling without waking up drenched. I highly recommend the Buffy Breeze comforter it’s breathable, made from eucalyptus, and still feels soft and cushy without trapping heat like down or heavy cotton. I also use a BedJet without the top sheet (I hate them too), and it still works really well under just a comforter, as long as it’s not super heavy. Pairing that with a linen duvet cover helped even more linen breathes way better than cotton and doesn’t cling when you sweat. Took some trial and error, but this combo finally gave me solid sleep without the swamp effect.
