  We have the Fox 2. We bought it 2022 for my first and now using it for my 2nd infant baby. We live in a place where the winters can be harsh, a whole lot of rain during fall and spring time. We walk a lot and we also have a car. What I like most of the Bugaboo brand is the accessories that are available for different needs. Like the rain cover, summer canopy, umbrella, sibling stand (I think), and many others. These extra things are also pricey but they make my mom life easier.

  Bugaboo all the way! I use dragonfly bcos I live in London and want it to be easier to take in the tubes etc but the upper versions are much better. Its. Dutch brand and we did plenty of research before buying one. Also it has a warranty of 4 years. Our pram was broken when we took it for travelling and it was exchanged in a couple of days. The customer service was amazing and hassle free.

  We also have the Bugaboo Donkey 5 and it’s still going strong almost three years later as a double stroller now—toddler is almost 3, baby is 7 months (got a second seat set for baby). Like OP, I really wanted to buy only one stroller and have it last forever. We did end up also getting a Bugaboo butterfly for travel.

  I see a lot of people recommending the Vista, and it's for sure sturdy, but it is quite heavy and as someone who used to demo strollers for customers, I didn't like how it still took up a lot of space when collapsed. I also thought their car seats (at least the Mesa and the Aria) were a bit cramped and tightly angled for an infant. Personally, I was a fan of the Nuna Triv, as I thought it was a good midpoint between a travel stroller and something real chunky like a Vista; it's easy to collapse and light enough to easily lift, although baby does sit a bit low in the car seat; the Pipa Aire car seat seemed nice too, very lightweight. Nuna only has one stroller that can convert to a double iirc, so that's also something to consider. Their Travel isn't quite as compact as other brands, and the Mixx Next is basically their version of the Vista, but collapses into a more compact form imo. I'd also recommend checking out Bugaboo - if I were to have a kid their Butterfly is what I'd get as a travel stroller. Easy to collapse, super lightweight, fits in most (if not all) overhead compartments on an airplane. I've also heard good things about the Kangaroo and Donkey!   This is honestly the way to go. Get a stroller that will fit your needs as an infant, then figure out what you like and need in an older kid stroller. I have an almost 5 year old with cerebral palsy and low vision- I have used strollers far longer than most people due to this (and strollers are more compact than a wheelchair, especially when not needed full time). In infancy, we opted for something with full recline that could fit all out stuff, including stuff for older kid. We didn't like using car seat attachment for more than a quick trip. We learned pretty quick that we didn't love the big bulky stroller and preferred smaller, compact ones, especially indoors like stores or doctors offices. However, most of those are not super infant friendly. Right now we have a GB Pockit and a Bugaboo Butterfly that are our daily drivers (one in each parents' car). The Butterfly is our go to, as it's the widest seat for a compact, however, there isn't enough sunshade or recline for an infant. We also have a used Bob we got for doing trails near our house, because it can handle all terrain and is so easy to push. We have tried others and then sold or given to friends. There are places that you can rent strollers to give them a legitimate try for like a week, but I would highly recommend getting something for your current needs because your needs will most likely change.

  We also bought a bugaboo and lucked out tha it was a practically new second hand one. It was so sturdy and took such a beating. That being said, I kind of wish we had gotten a cybex. It would have fit with our car seat which also reclined enough for it to not be dangerous to leave a bay in it for a short shopping trip. One of the biggest things we looked at were the wheels. We have lots of cobblestones where we are so they had to be big. People with small wheels get stuck all the time.

  So I have a slight obsession with baby/kid products. Anything to make my life easier! So I have several strollers in my garage/car. I live in the country on a gravel road to give you background. - Uppababy Vista - this thing is a BEAST - heavy and rock solid. I wouldn’t recommend for early postpartum since the parent giving birth should not be heavy lifting for at least 6-8 weeks. I didn’t buy this until kid #2 was here and it was second hand. My most used stroller for 2 kids. Works well on gravel as well as lots of in and out of the car. It’s so solid, you literally can’t break it. It’s meant to be used and abused. The storage is also amazing! - Bugaboo Butterfly - I bought this when I was going to flying with just 1 child and it eventually became the easy load and go stroller. It does indeed fit above you in the plane. Compatible with our car seat. I used this extensively in my fresh postpartum period and I had CS so heavy lifting is very frowned upon on. This is actually what I recommend for first time parents to start out with until they know their preferences. It’s easier on the wallet and it has a decent resell market. - Uppababy Ridge - this was the stroller we chose when I was pregnant with our first kiddo. We loved it. You can use the car seat and bassinet with it. Works even better on gravel or a bumpy lawn than the vista. Pushes so good. However since having kid #2 we have only pulled it out a handful of times. We will likely use this stroller more once Kid #1 outgrows the Vista. I don’t think this one is going to have a good resale outcome despite it being Uppababy. -Gladly Anthem Wagon - I love this for parades and zoos where there’s a lot of getting in and out. However once I got the Vista, we rarely have touched this even with car seat attachments.. We might use it more once kid #2 is a toddler. - Evenflo DualShyft Car seat/stroller - this is their version of the doona. I will say that this was awesome to travel with an infant on a plane. We bought kid #1 a seat and it fit amazingly. This one is sadly not reached for as often since it’s not as intuitive (or maybe we just needed more practice - I don’t know lol). If I lived in the city and needed to travel with a car seat and stroller (like a lot of ride share or taxi) then I would consider this one. I will say that I have a couple friends with doonas as their only stroller and they love it. Would not recommend this for gravel or lawns. There is no suspension. All in all - my vote would be for 2 ride to die strollers and those would be the Vista and the Butterfly. That would cover pretty much all of your possible uses for a stroller. I would recommend the Uppababy snug seat regardless of what stroller you settle on. I used it in every attachment and stroller possible since it really stabilizes their wobbly head in those early weeks except for the infant carrier car seat. Also a quiet shout out for the Nuna Pipa Lite Rx car seat! Compatible with all of these options listed above and we chose it because it was one of the lightest car seats at the time of kid #1’s birth.

  I have a Bugaboo that was used for twins before we got it. It is the very best. Been in use for probably 8 years now. It shrinks down for one kid or expands out for two, and at full width it fits through every standard door/walkway/elevator. We had a toddler when the second was born and just put the bassinet right next to the seat. They love it, we love it. There's nothing better!

  Absolutely love our Bugaboo dragonfly as our daily stroller. For its size, it’s still pretty lightweight, and the one handed fold is clutch. It wasn’t cheap, but we’re happy with it!

  We got the Bugaboo Bee when child 2 arrived. Decided to not use a dedicated infant-pram (not sure of the terminology) but the bee came with an infant-carry-thing where he could lay flat in the beginning and then sit as he got older. Very strong, tough, and folds really small.

  Just to mention that my (now 3) year old son has simply refused to go near a pram since he learned to speak shortly after 2 because they are “for babies”- he simply must scoot , cycle , or be carried by me. There was a brief period where we tried to still bring him places in the pram when it rained (for the rain cover) but it honestly looked like he was being kidnapped as he kicked the rain cover so I just bought him a rainsuit and stopped.  My point being - don’t overthink it.  Also bugaboo fox (or uppababy vista if you want a massive basket)

  We have a Bugaboo Fox 5 and a Bugaboo Butterfly, and both have been excellent and I know we have quite a bit of life left in both. Highly recommend.

  We have the bugaboo kangaroo and really like the quality. The design is really elegant. Some key factors are that it goes from bassinet to seat to scooter seat and that a second child may be carried if adjustments are made.

  Uppababy Cruz. Vista imo is too big and even if you end up having more kids it’s still huge and awkward. Even the Cruz I find too big sometimes and heavy. We used it w the Clek liing. My daughter is 2 and still using it (except in the winter when it sucks lol). (For context we ended up w 3 strollers lol - we also have bugaboo butterfly for travel and quick trips like mall and zoo, and Thule urban glide for winter).

  It brings me great pain to say this, but a bugaboo can’t be beat. Pricey at, modular, good resale value, etc. please don’t tell my wife im actually recommending it bc I was outraged by initial cost.

  Baby pram/strollers in EU

  I had a secondhand Bugaboo Frog system (many years ago), that survived my two children and then got passed on again. It was user serviceable, very solid and a joy to push on country roads, pavements and across fields with the dog. Definitely recommend using slime in the tyres if you get a pram with pneumatic tyres. And congratulations!

  Baby pram/strollers in EU

  We love the Bugaboo Butterfly 2. We had the Bugaboo Lynx for our first child, the pros were large wheels which meant stability and sturdiness, large basket which fit anything and everything. The only con was the size. It was fine with only one kid, but now with 2 it just takes too much space even when folded. For example even fitting our 3 year olds Woom bike and the Lynx in our trunk would make it basically full (and we have a large trunk). With our second now we wanted something more compact, so we opted for the Butterfly 2 and we love it. We got the newborn nest and started using immediately. We had a Metro 3 for our first child for a small while and I hated that thing with a passion. My observation in general of the Bugaboo compared to Nuna and Cybex is that it holds up much better even after lots of use.

  Diaper Bag Recommendations

  We had the same issue picking one, but the Bugaboo Butterfly backpack turned out great. Tons of space, easy to clean, and looks nice enough that both of us don’t mind carrying it.
