Brands That Used to Be BIFL — But Aren't Anymore?
BUICK used to be ol reliable, but I traded in my 2025 at a loss after 5 months because I hated it so much—- so many problems The old 2001 regal I had was incredibly durable— two teenage drivers, then turned into the “farm truck” for a while— it was still running well into the 400,000 mile range. I couldn’t keep my new one past 4k

Toyota or Buick to drive for many years
Both rank consistently high for reliability. For new vehicles, Buick has recently been number 1 or close to it. We are all pretty dang spoiled these days with reliable vehicles. but, both are standouts.

Toyota or Buick to drive for many years
“New” meaning actually new? Toyota. Used market under $5k- look for any Buick with a 3800. That was the last time GM had legit and consistent longevity.

Toyota or Buick to drive for many years
Buick is often ranked as the most reliable American car brand, but Toyota is likely more reliable. We have a Buick Encore GX and it hasn’t given us any problems over the last 4+ years. Even though Toyota reliability has slipped in recent years, the Japanese brands are still the benchmark.

Toyota or Buick to drive for many years
Can’t trust these fly-by-night companies that just popped up in the 1930s. Like a fart in the wind, they’ll be gone before you know it. Go Buick 🤪🤪

Depends on the car… Buick Roadmaster wagon? ✅ Ferarri Testarossa? ❌
