  Something to keep me warm at night In my tent.

  You can get a double sleeping bag. Or a quilted XL sleeping bag (larger and heavier than a mummy) like the Cabela's Outfitter XL -20°. Also, make sure the clothes you are sleeping in are clean (if possible). Dirty clothes can make you feel colder. I also like to add a thermarest quilt on top of my bag on colder nights. And I have a really good, insulated sleeping pad. Source: I am a rock and ice climber. I camp in the snow and cold pretty regularly.

  My belt got rubbed off after a short backpacking trip. What belt do you have that lasts?

  Cabela's strap belt. It's just a webbing strap with a plastic pressure lock for the buckle. No holes to wear out, had mine for 6 years with no observable wear to the buckle or belt.

  Levi's 501 are now half off, are they still good quality or they're not worth it?

  Levis haven't been worth it in years. Jeans that last? Cabela's brand redhead jeans. I usually blow the crotch out in my work jeans within a couple months, and I've got 7 pairs of these that I've had for over a year now and not a single tear or hole. And the kicker is.... They only cost $25.🤯🤯😂👏👏👏 The other brand id recommend is Ariat rebar.

  What products used to be well built back in the day but now are low quality?

  A few years after Bass Pro took over, you could still buy old stock Cabelas branded items. I bought a bunch of things like duffle bags, and camp chairs. They are still holding up well. I went to my local Cabelas recently and most of the store brand stuff is Bass Pro garbage. Kind of a bummer.

  What products used to be well built back in the day but now are low quality?

  Cabelas branded products used to be wonderful. Their clothing, especially, was warm, durable, and functioned flawlessly. After bass pro shops bought them out, the quality was barely even a shadow of its former self.

  Cabela's camp chairs are great for bigger/taller people. Comfortable and tough enough to withstand me dropping into it.

  I just go to Cabelas and get steelhead flannels, I’ve had mine for three years now and aren’t near wearing out. They’re nice and thick too, not made of the curtain like material you find at most stores

  I'd rec Cabela's "RedHead" brand pants for men ($35-60). Full range of styles-cotton, ripstop, jeans, slacks. Solid quality, fair price, great return policy.
