Not Corelle Please! Chip-free dinnerware
My Calamityware monster dishes are of shockingly good quality. We're clumsy AF and in the three years we've had the set, not one has broken or chipped and I've chipped several bowls and cups and glasses that aren't Calamityware during the same time frame. Plus, they look like Blue Willow and have monsters worked into the pattern, so they bring whimsy and joy to formal dinners.

Denby is good quality stoneware. I got Calamityware oversized mugs for my teen son as a gift. Surprisingly good quality.

i love calamityware, my family jokes that it’s the “fine china” might not be what OP is looking for because they want dark tones, but to anyone with a sense of humour i strongly recommend
