Looking for a truly modular food container system: one footprint, one lid, many depths (plastic, fridge use)
Deli containers & cambro containers. There is a reason why these are the go-to storage containers for Brett much every commercial kitchen ever. That said, nothing plastic is truly BIFL. It just degrades over time.

What are the Best Glass Food Storage Containers Available Now? Recommendation
Don't go glass. Go Cambro. Any Cambro food storage container is worth it. And thick walled [deli storage food container](https://www.webstaurantstore.com/choice-heavy-duty-32-oz-translucent-plastic-deli-container-and-lid-combo-pack-case/128HD32COMBO.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com).

Look at cambro containers. May not be the sizes you're hoping for but they're like what you're asking about.

Looking for a truly modular food container system: one footprint, one lid, many depths (plastic, fridge use)
Check out Cambro Camsquares. You probably need to get them at a restaurant supply place - I got mine at a Costco Business Center.

Looking for a truly modular food container system: one footprint, one lid, many depths (plastic, fridge use)
Commercial Rubbermaid and Cambro are kind of like this, but I don't think they are available in sub 1 liter sizes.

Maybe Cambro, but might not get small enough

Anyone experience mold on Rubbermaid Brilliance line?
Cambro. The BIFL storage solution. And they're square-ish (they're a little rectangular to fit perfectly into True reach-in refrigerators and freezers) I won't own anything else. Three lid sizes. Mix and match. Designed to maximize fridge space.

What are some items under $500 you’ve made so far that changed your life?
I second this! Long time hospitality worker and I use a lot of cambros in my personal kitchen. When you go to the restaurant supply shop to get them, things like butter and Parmesan cheese are significantly cheaper! I always stocked up for myself if I’m there on a work run. I also use deli containers (8,16,33oz round plastic containers) for damn near everything in my kitchen. They stack brilliantly, wash well, freeze well, are virtually liquid tight, have universal lids, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, good for individual or group portions, I could go on forever.

How do we prepare for the incoming price hikes?
Buy smart. We already purchased some kitchen appliances before the new administration, but consider I no eating in stuff like food storage (cambro containers, chest freezer) and getting thrifty. I’ve started buying bulk dry beans form Azure Standard because I have an instant pot and can easily incorporate beans and lentils into recipes to cut down buying protein.

Is there a glass or no bpa plastic version of this take out container
I switched from Cambro to deli containers and I will never go back. Buy packs of them on Amazon in three sizes. Best kitchen hack of my life.

Is there a glass or no bpa plastic version of this take out container
[Cambro recently came out with their version to compete with deli containers](https://www.webstaurantstore.com/cambro-camsquares-174-freshpro-16-piece-translucent-square-polypropylene-food-storage-container-and-lid-set-fpmini16190/214FPMINI16.html). Marketed as less disposable and made in the US and all use the same lids. They’re just too expensive for all the ways I use deli containers.

Is there a glass or no bpa plastic version of this take out container
Hard clear plastic like Cambro commercial food containers will have less BPA. No plastic will come close to glass though. We use the Cambro for non-liquid food prep, and glass for everything else. Honestly Costco has had some of the best prices for glass that I've seen.
