I have a Camry one that's wired, and takes batteries. I've only ever used it wired, still going well after 3 years or so with no blade change. I use it mostly on Merino wool items.

Our stories are so same. 🖤 I also learned to drive on a Camry. It's not super expensive to repair. It's easy to fit in anywhere (parking garages, ally ways) It has literally all the technology i need.. well after I replaced the radio so I could blue tooth

Dude just last night I wondered if anyone else loved a 2000 Camry as much as I did (and still sort of do.) I learned to drive in that thing and no other car will ever be as comfortable, I swear. They were perfect.

BIFLers, what things do you not understand why people spend their money on?
If you do it right your car can be basically free. I bought a Honda CR-V with 260,000 miles on it, drove it for another 100,000, and then sold it for more than I paid for it. My brother did the same thing with a Camry, someone else I know did it with an old Hyundai... If you aren't one of those fools who thinks that their car is literally a part of their personality, you can drive any old vehicle and save hundreds of thousands of dollars over your lifetime. New cars are expensive and generally more expensive than most people can afford, but they do it anyway because it's a status symbol. Break free of that and spend money on things that are actually worth it!

Where Does "Buy It for Life" Not Make Sense?
Currently enjoying my 2014 Camry and love every day that I can drive with no car payment. Fits the family, good on gas, insurance is reasonable. I'll probably get another Camry when it dies.
