What have you used the most at home these two years?
My casabrews espresso machine and my bidet. I also invested in an office chair that makes me feel like a feudal lord.

Best Espresso Machine? That Actually Last a Long time?
I second u/rand-san. Pure distilled water seems like the safest choice but it actually strips out essential minerals that some machines rely on for sensor readings or boiler regulation. Over time that can cause corrosion or trigger false errors. Combine that with skipped maintenance and you’ve basically got a machine on a timer, no matter how expensive it is. I love [Casabrews espresso machine](https://d19h9m82wn0kp9.cloudfront.net/?q=GLH58ZP) for this reason. It's more forgiving. The internals aren’t overengineered or hypersensitive to ultra pure water the way some high end models can be. And because it’s compact and accessible, regular cleaning and descaling are much easier to stay on top of. It still pulls a solid 20 bar shot and has a surprisingly capable steam wand for milk drinks. The stainless steel body and 34oz removable tank give it a premium feel without the service nightmares of pricier prosumer machines. Basically if you’re trying to break out of the cycle of buying a good machine that quietly self destructs, this one actually holds up especially if you feed it filtered (not distilled) water and stick to a simple cleaning routine.

Single serve coffee maker
Keurig’s been flopping hard lately, tons of folks have had their machines die within a year and you can’t even get them repaired properly. That’s why more people are jumping to lesser known brands like casabrews and aiden cuz one, that's literally the only option and two, these brands tend to put more effort in their build quality and customer service so it just makes more sense to do so. Between the two tho, I’d say casabrews is a bit better in terms of just being more versatile and customizable with its features. Aiden’s nice too, but it leans more into basic drip coffee. Found about both of them through reddit posts, liked [this one](https://www.reddit.com/user/KokichiOma77/comments/1li1rps/if_your_keurig_keeps_dying_on_you_help_is_here/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) the best, it's got a side by side comparison between casabrews and keurig and the difference is kinda wild.

Single serve coffee maker
I keep seeing single-serve options that are either super cheap and plasticky, or just wildly expensive for what you’re actually getting. Kind of feels like a race to the bottom or the top, with not a lot in between that actually holds up. If you’re looking for something that looks decent on the counter and doesn’t feel like it’ll break after a year, those metal-bodied [semi-auto espresso machines](https://best-reviewers.com/dp-B09X3WGJ3R) pop up a lot in discussions. Someone in this thread has already mentioned casabrews and honestly i tots second it. people go for it since it’s got a legit 20-bar pump (most of these home models fudge that) and it isn’t massive - fits fine in a smaller kitchen or office. Heard the milk frother is actually usable, not just an afterthought. Not saying it’s the unicorn of espresso, just that in the land of disposable pod machines and $800+ prosumer stuff, its price-to-features ratio makes a little more sense. Worth watching some reviews if you’re on the fence between pods and pulling real shots at home

Simple coffee maker recs
If you’re not looking for anything super fancy or connected to the internet (lol), [this CASABREWS one](https://fairbrandreviews.com/dp-B09X3WGJ3R) could actually be a solid middle ground. It’s not full-on “set it and forget it,” but it’s simple enough to use without needing a manual every morning. Doesn’t have any weird smart features, just a good pressure system and frother if you wanna get a little extra. It’s compact and doesn’t hog counter space either. holds up well over time, and I’ve seen people say their customer support is super responsive if anything does go sideways like, no hoops to jump through. Just a heads-up tho you have to let it cool after steaming milk or it freaks out a bit, but that’s a small quirk. Makes a legit espresso shot without the drama.

kind citizens, what is the best coffee maker you've ever used?
Im talking about [this Casabrews model](https://best-sellers.bellababyfoods.com/dp-B0C533HGCS) . It has the grinder included as well. If you own a grinder already or want one without it, they have options and the prices are considerably lower on those[.](https://www.amazon.com/CASABREWS-Espresso-Professional-Removable-Cappuccinos/dp/B0C533HGCS) I personally just wanted an all in one situation and im happy with it

What home coffee essentials have held up and lasted you over time?
I was using mocha pots for the last 3-4 years but they do not work well after some time. I bought casa brews espresso machine for almost $100 and it is very good
