  Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?

  I’m looking up the cheapest cars right now and they are certainly cheap! But for they’re all essentially glorified golf carts. Even the ‘expensive’ one at $4,200 has a top speed of 45mph Seems like the cheapest/practical would just be an old civic

  New Toyota corolla hybrid can it really last 20+ years

  I feel like this should be in personal finance or some other sub. 4 hour commute for $25 an hour seems crazy. $300 per month to park your car seems crazy. Buying a new car when money is tight seems not exactly the best move. 4 hour commute is going to blow through the mileage and make the warranty mute in 3 years. OP buy a 3 year old used Civic, hybrid if possible and find another place to live.

  Perhaps the most correct answer here. Had I known how enduring Civics are when I was 16 and my parents let me pick out a car, I would not have chosen a coupe. Still going strong almost 14 years later. I want a new one I can actually put shit in but I can’t justify it because car still go. Car go. Me drive.
