What's a purchase under $50 that has genuinely improved your daily routine?
Civivi elementum folding knife. Small, not frightening, cheap, and still a good quality knife for everything from opening boxes to peeling apples, or cutting threads. I have it in my pocket and never have to hunt for scissors

What's a purchase under $50 that has genuinely improved your daily routine?
decent but no-frills pocket knife. I've gotten ones I like from Kershaw, Civivi, and CJRB, but I'm sure there are even more. You can easily spend more than $50 on your perfect pocket knife, but it won't be _that much_ better unless you have very specific needs... and it'll suck way more when you inevitably lose it.

What brands do you trust to always deliver a high quality product?
Michelin tires have never let me down. Long-lasting, good traction, no flats, good ride. WeatherTech floor mats have saved my carpets. Pyrex kitchen ware, Civivi and Spyderco knives. Honda and Toyota have been good for me up to 250,000 miles.

Looking for suggestions on high quality tweezers
I do carpentry for a living a I need to pull slivers at least once a week. I found the CIVIVI precision tweezers to be the best. They’re strong with a super fine point to grab small things. It stores in itself but also comes with a leather slip. They’re expensive, but the best I’ve used for pulling slivers in almost 8 years woodworking.

Has everything we buy reduced in quality over time? Has anything increased in quality or stayed high quality and durable?
Civivi, cjrb, vosteed, bestech, kershaw, crkt, cold steel. All of the above have some pricier stuff but all have stuff that’s decent under $50 if you catch a sale.
