Bull 💩, I have Corelleware dishes I have used nearly every day for 30 years. They have been dropped, left outside, served up mudpies and been sent through the dishwasher countless times. Most still look nearly new. My mother-in-law's 50 year old Corning cookwear was used regularly and with the replacement of a couple of lids is still in great shape.

Looking for Tupperware alternatives
For the most part you can use mason jars for smaller items or butcher paper for meats. I am mostly plastic free. I use many Corning glass bowls but the lid is still plastic. I also use jars a lot. I leave the lids loose on jars until the contents freeze so no glass breaking

Plastic taste in my coffee maker… looking for new one. Any suggestions?
The Jet-O-Matic vintage percolator produces good coffee without scorching, so do the Westinghouse Pressure Flo and the Corning 6 and 10 cup models. Cleaning was no more difficult than dumping grounds and a rinse and a wipe. But they're on a shelf now that I have a Moccamaster.
