Is this honeywell not good to use or good?
I'll be honest it looks brand new. If you want a good airfilter though, I'd suggest a Corsi-Rosenthal box. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal\_Box](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal_Box) I can't find the ratings and tests for it immediately off hand, but it rated near or at the top for volume of airflow, ability to reduce pollutants in the air, cost per hour to run (and maintain.) Ontop of the fact that it is incredibly cheap? You can buy 4 packs of the filters needed for it very cheap, and often you can use the box that comes in to finish the base of the filter and add a shroud.

The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST!
www.cleanairkits.com Same concept as a Corsi Rosenthal purifier (box fan with furnace filters), but they use computer fans so they’re much quieter and use less energy. You can DIY it, but this website has some nice premade ones that look so much more polished than a few plastic LED-lit fans duct taped to a pleated furnace filter. They make filter changes a lot easier too.

nobody has thrown it out there so I'll mention a corsi-rosenthal box. I made one last year and while I don't have a regular air purifier to compare against, I think it's been doing a pretty good job. The filters were disgusting after 6 months, anyway, which I doubt would be the case if it wasn't pulling in quite a bit of junk from the air. might be worth a shot, especially with how bad the air quality is rn
