Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
My exception here is crayons, because I can’t make fun new crayons out of non-wax crayons, and crayola never lets me down!

There is a difference in crayons. You need crayola - rose art are not even close

Same. Also for our kid for school we are always asked to buy crayola brand crayons and also tricondera (however it’s spelled) pencils. I heard it’s because they crayola are just better quality in general and also because everyone has the exact same shade of the colors. A crayola red can be a different shade of red from a roseart one. When it comes to the pencils I will say I am all for that brand. The erasers on other brands of pencils will just smear shit everywhere and are absolutely awful.

For a 3yo, sure, but older than that you need to go crayola, minimum.

I will only buy crayola at this point. I can't trust that anything else is truly washable. I've been burned too many times.
