Good sling bags for men?
I've got an old Crumpler bag I bought in 06, it still looks almost new (though it's too small for my current laptop). Great bag. The company was bought out in 2015, and apparently quality went way down, but the original owners bought it back in 2021, so they may have rebounded, but I'd read some reviews from the last few years before buying from them today.

I bought a coffee grinder from a buddy who was emigrating in 2010 and he asked me if I wanted this old crumpler laptop bag. Coffee grinder is long gone and the crumpler barely looks a day older.

Look up FUL backpacks from the 2000s. The Overton was a beast. I used one daily (weekday and weekend) for 20 years and only needed to stitch the top handle once in the first 30 days. After that it was bombproof. Vintage Jansport and Crumpler as well. In fact, I hear the founder is back at Crumpler and they're making good stuff again. I have Crumpler laptop bags that I've owned for decades that look brand new. For a bit more, Tom Bihn bags are really well made and durable. You could also try stitching that strap back and seeing if the rest of the bag holds. Sometimes it will (see above).

Looking for a crossbody bag for everyday
I have the Crumpler Drone Sling. It's a crossbody that JUST fits my laptop, and another big pocket inside. Crumpler bags - messenger, camera, etc. I've got bags 15+ years old that are still awesome to use. Pick them up cheap used on eBay if you want.

Have you looked at Crumpler? Lifetime warranty. I’ve had my backpack for 15 years at least and it used to be daily use pre-COVID.
