What’s the cheapest way to get a bidet setup at home that actually lasts?
Go for the integrated toilet seat bidet. I previously had the rack style under the toilet seat and agree that it was very hard to clean it. I upgraded to a toilet seat bidet for about $80 and it's so much easier to clean and is far more discreet. I just saw delta has one now for $62.

Moen or Delta. It’s a good idea to consult local service plumbers in your area as to what’s common when it comes to the fixtures in your area. That will make it easier to service without wait times on supply orders. I agree with the other poster that you should buy from a quality source. I ended up buying from Costco and they sold supply house quality for the set I bought. You can always cross check the material specifications on the website to make sure the shower internals are metal.

Opinions on Vola KV1 faucet
Crazy expensive and it doesn’t even have a pullout spout. But the spout it does have is pretty bendy (double swivel) and it looks so good! So I told myself it was a piece of art and bought one in stainless steel. I have had a red-orange one (they don’t have this color anymore) in my kitchen for over 30 years. Sadly, the coating started to flake off near the lever about 5 years ago and it’s time to replace it. I expect the stainless one to last the rest of my life. If I move I’ll replace it with a Delta and take it with me.

One of my earliest memories is when I was 5 in '95 in my dad's workshop, all his tools in there were delta. They moved and now they're all in his new shop and still work perfectly well The only minor issue is with his table saw, the crank to raise lower the blade is a little worm out but after over 3 decades I think we can understand that

I have the same model bandsaw, it's decent enough for light work. The blade adjustment is bit more fiddly than others that I've worked with and replacement parts for anything other than new blades are ridiculously over priced. But, that is pretty standard for power tools these days. Make sure all of the pins and rollers are still there, if it is complete its worth 50 to 100 bucks. The drill press looks pretty rough, it has sat in humidity long enough to rust the work surfaces. Which means it was probably stored unused for a couple years. I have one that looks similar because I bought a better one. If you're looking for something that will last and be more than light duty for wood only, buy a better one.

I second the Stanley planes. You can generally find them at auctions/ estate sales for next to nothing. Rex Krueger on YouTube is a good way to go from there since you’ll have to work on it to get it performing. Festool is generally thought of to be a BIFL company. I know you have a space restriction, but used table saws with cast iron tops are great. Brands like Jet, Grizzly and a few others tend to increase in value over time. Many Delta drill presses will stick around for multiple lifetimes.

Good kitchen faucet? Spent $300 on a MOEN faucet but it’s proved to be trash compared to my parents no name.
Moen has turned into cheap junk IMHO. It used to be good 45 years ago when I has my house built, but since has gotten worse in quality. I have to pay more for both Delta and Kohler, but especially Delta is way better IMHO. (even though it too has degraded since "old times") Kohler is slipping, but both Delta and Kohler are way better in both quality and support. I asked a couple of plumbing contractor friends of mine (one who's now got 40+ employees working for him) and the other works independently, they both agree that Moen is now regarded as "run of the mill" lower quality, lower priced "junk", but satisfies the budgets of many people. Just my comments. \- over the last couple of decades as I've remodeled / replaced / refurbished my abode, I've compared products, asked many, many professional plumbers and builders, and the consensus I've heard is: Moen is contractor grade "low quality" "junk" that satisfies the budget conscious consumer, and doesn't last. both Delta and Kohler still have the quality, offer higher end quality products. The old saying: "one gets what they pay for" applies here. "one has to "pay to play". Nothing is free.

Agree with others, Delta, Kohler, Moen. Wipe with gentle cleanser if you must. No bleach, no Clorox or Lysol wipes. I just wipe with water & save my cleaning products for the caulk & sink bowl itself.

Looking for a great handheld showerhead
We have Delta HydroRain shower heads on our showers and they have been working well. I did not pay $500 for them though. As another commenter mentioned, we bought all of ours from HD or Lowe’s and i believe all were under $200. I just want to mention that Delta has been great about their warranty program and twice now they have replaced our shower heads for free (they suffered some sort of internal malfunction of the diverter within the warranty period - less than one year). So, while the warranty is good - the shower heads do fail and Delta recognizes that it can happen with their warranty). Just make sure to register your house head and keep the receipt.

Kitchen Faucet
I just put in a delta kitchen faucet and all delta fixtures in the master bath (2 faucets and all the shower fixtures). Expensive, but should last. My plumber for the past 25 years recommended delta -- ask a trusted guy who works on the stuff for a living, they know what to get and what to avoid. One suggestion is to buy from a plumbing supply store and not a big box store. Even brands like delta may have different 'tiers' of quality to meet big box store price requirements.
