  Congrats on the new place! You're right to invest in the couch and mattress. If im not mistaken, some brands will def let u delay delivery if u ask. for mattress, i know Denver mattress gets love locally but i've also heard Boring Mattress is a solid no-fuss option if u're coll with bed in a box

  A good mattress, do they exist anymore?

  The last time I bought a mattress, I went to Denver Mattress. I told the sales person the reason I was shopping for a new mattress, and interestingly, they recommended a mattress I would have never considered. It's one of their brands, and it is considered "soft." I had been having aches and pains in my body from using a mattress that was too hard. Oh my goodness, this mattress is the best thing I ever had. No more aches now. With that mattress, I also got box springs and a mattress cover that does not let any moisture through.

  MATTRESS. Looking for recommendations.

  Use a mattress cover. I got my mattress at Denver Mattress, bought a cover, LOVE it. 3 years and going strong.
