No way! I still have mine from about 12-15 years ago as well! It's been my main bag since grade school and has survived textbooks from high school and 4 years of college. No idea how it's lasted this long but I'm grateful for it. Mine's in a bit rougher condition than yours (stitched up the front pocket a while back when the zipper gave out, wasn't using it much anyway) but the straps and internal bag are still holding strong. No idea what I'm gonna do when I inevitably have to replace it; no backpack has ever lasted me this long.

Honestly, same. Got mine as a birthday present and it's still my carry-on whenever I fly or traveling in general. Somehow, mine only has a non-essential seam torn. Glad to see someone else gets some good mileage out of it!

Not strange, just a fair review lol. Prior to this bag, I've had to change mine every years as a high schooler at the time. The fact this one has lasted 15 years and is still bound to last me many more warrants it the title of bifl imho! I also decided to actually give another check at the straps and.... They're in much better shape than I remembered. Doesn't actually seem to be ripping (at all), only one side is wearing off from rubbing on my back. The mesh ripping tho that's just... Unavoidable really. It's mesh. Mesh is always cheap lol
