We liked our Doona, which I haven’t seen mentioned here. It was really light and easy to get in and out of the car. I would get a second stroller for pushing around the neighborhood or serious walks. But for car the doona can’t be beat. There’s so many times you don’t want to wake the baby up taking them out of the car and the doona is perfect for that.

Stroller Recommendations
Unsure what you mean BIFL. Survive multiple kids, suit a single child from newborn to 3+ years, or simply extra durable so it can withstand your stated activities? Bought a Doona secondhand and am using it for the second time so it has supported at least 3 children up until they grow out of it at like 2 years old. So it's technically a short life span, but not having to carry a separate car seat was a godsend and honestly it's in good enough condition I would be able to resell it as well if I wanted to.
