Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
I don't know that this topic belongs in this subreddit, buy it for life consumables sounds like bombing for peace, but I'll give my 2 cents anyway. I'm a fat guy and a few years ago I was using Arm&Hammer antiperspirant and that works excellently. I had to stop because my skin decided it didn't like that, or most of the other antiperspirants I tried. Developed a rough rash and sensitivity where I became aware and resentful of every arm movement. Looking into it I saw that it could be from the body wash liquid soap I was using or the antiperspirant so I changed both. The brand that was recommended by people in person and the Internet was Dove. I've been using Dove bar soaps and the Dove for Men antiperspirants and I'm happy to say they work for me. Not the cheapest, but a good value in my eyes.

[Dove advanced care](https://a.co/d/7h5U8q7) has been great for me for years. It’s also pretty neutral so my girlfriend also uses it occasionally when she’s over here or out of hers or whatever

It has aluminum in it but the dove spray antiperspirant works great for me and never stains my shirts.

I’m weird because most deodorants or sticks or whatever make my armpits bleed. The only ones that work for me are sprays. For the last 15 years I’ve only used sprays, dove, was a big one, but for the last 2 years it’s strictly BRUT

as everyone said, if you want anti-perspirant, you need aluminum... trust me... i learned the hard way... you COULD look into botox for sweaty pits if you dont want to use aluminum. I'm not a man but i curate my husband's toiletries, imma be real, he put me on dove spray deodorant in the cucumber smell it's great and keeps us smelling clean AND isn't a pain to wash off in the shower

If it helps to assuage your worries, even the American Cancer society has debunked aluminum being bad for antiperspirants. https://www.cancer.org/cancer/risk-prevention/chemicals/antiperspirants-and-breast-cancer-risk.html That being said some people still avoid it due to sensitivities. As a guy with sensitive skin but also stinky pits, I’ve found just changing brands (I cannot use old spice, it literally burns) has fixed most issues and kept me from smelling like a boy’s locker room. I sometimes have to rotate brands but arm and hammer, Mitchum, even Dove all work well even in the humid summers of Central U.S.

Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
I have to rotate deodorants every 6 months or so because they stop working. Natural deodorant always makes my pits hurt/itch so I just rotate through Dove and Old Spice.

Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
I use dove cleaning bars, as they don't have soapy compounds and no added aromatics and I use the complete oderless nivea spray deoderant because it doesn't have any aromatics in it. it cleans me, stops the sweat and doesn't add a parfume to my body

I’ve had similar issues dove ultra clear black and white seems to work well for me it can still stain shirts but it’s way less likely and usually comes out in the wash.

Dove men's antiperspirant has been great for me. I have really sensitive skin and it hasn't caused breakouts for me, and works great.

Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
I use dove bar soap and have had multiple people tell me my skin is like velvet. Bar soap lathers way better than body wash, so I don't need to use a washcloth. Plus it's better for the environment to reduce plastic waste from bottles!

Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
I've been using Dove bar for probably 30+ years (face & body), but I have to say I hate the Sedative kind; I will only use the Original. I bought the Sensitive for kids when they were babies, and it just wasn't a good texture.

I have been using dove soap bar for like 20+ years on my body and even face as no complaints. We do buy the sensitive kind.

Same. My Derm uses Cerave, Aquaphor, and Dove bar soap. Her skin is like milk glass.

What product would you seriously stockpile if you found out they weren't going to sell it anymore?
It is remarkably hard to come by even still. At the local stores I might have a choice of one Old Spice scent and Irish Spring then some Dove or Ivory. There might be a few single bars but if I went bulk that's usually about it.
