BIFL Fluevogs: which styles?
Duckfeet are legit - they're like the Scandinavian answer to wide feet problems. Super comfy right out of the box too, no "earning" required like with Red Wings For Fluevogs though, the Angels and Operettas seem to hold up better than the trendy styles from what I've seen posted here. The construction quality varies a lot between their different lines

BIFL Fluevogs: which styles?
>Hella uncomfortable for my slightly wide feet ever heard of duck feet? mine are due for new soles . had them for 10 years. the uppers are beat up but in good shape even with minimal maintenance. **foot-shaped footwear since 1975** [https://duckfeetusa.com/](https://duckfeetusa.com/) >Red Wings IRs. Hella uncomfortable for my slightly wide feet those take a *while* to break in... i put mine on just to walk the dogs and put some miles on before I could wear them all day without complaining. you have to "earn" those.

Are the Duckfeet Arhus boots BIFL?
Don't know if you purchased any yet. I have a pair of Arhus that have lasted 6 years so far in rainy, snowy weather. The soles need to be replaced. But the leather and interior are in fantastic shape. I wear them without socks most of the time and they've been warm down to about 15 degrees (f) - it doesn't get much colder than that here. I'm sure with socks, they'd be warm at colder temps. I oil them at the beginning of the season and then at the end before storing. With their name brand leather care cream.

ISO my perfect winter boots: Elegant, zero-drop/flexible, zip-up, and NOT suede.
Duckfeet Århus are wool lined with a minimal lace near the top. They are not true zero drop but have very soft flexy sole and are a near barefoot feel between the flex and ample toe room. I like barefoot shoes and spend as much time as possible in simple bedrock sandals but for about the last year and a half have mostly worn duckfeet faborgs when not wearing sandals, including for more farm work/hunting/fishing than I should have so mine look a little beat up and do suffer in the comfort department on steep terrain unless I am wearing very thick heavy winter socks. They are re-solable and with very basic leather care should last many many years. Kept clean they should stay looking nice too.

Duckfeet boots are the best
I get text messages from them. This text was sent out June 19th. Duckfeet USA: Sun's out, sandals out! You're hearing it first: Our cheerful Duckfeet sandals are waddling off for good-no restocks this year or next as we make room for something new (yay!) Once they're gone, they're really gone! best shoes for wide feet and high arches?
I have a wide toe box, normal ankle, high arch, and high instep, so I’m always on the hunt for something similar and often can’t just walk into a store and find something that fits. Arch supports placed strategically in heels help, as do straps on the ankle. Topo Athletic Sole Bliss Blundstones in a half size (they are wider but not longer) Duckfeet is on my list to try Clarks wides and low heels with ankle straps Anya’s Reviews helped me figure out brands with different foot shapes and what to look for, but I like a thicker insole than the barefoot movement she talks about. Thanks to her, I learned about Lems.

Duckfeet boots are the best
I'm thinking about getting a pair of their Barefoot Shoellies... That said I've always admired Duckfeet, Clarks, Earth Shoes and anything else that looks like a geologist rambling through the English countryside with a knack for mushroom hunting.
