you’re on the right track looking past the flimsy ones with a million attachments. the main thing with steam mops is making sure you get one with a solid tank size and consistent pressure. otherwise you end up feeling like you’re just pushing hot water around. duprey and karcher both have decent reputations for actually holding up and putting out steady steam, so you won’t be refilling every five minutes or dealing with leaks. also, don’t underestimate pad quality. thick, washable microfiber pads make a bigger difference than most people expect. they grab dirt instead of just smearing it. and make sure replacement pads are easy to find, otherwise you’ll hate the thing after a year. Steam mop suggestions
After researching different steamers, I settled on the [neat steamer by Dupray](https://nexbuy.link/steam-cleaners). I am very pleased with this product. It produces a very hot steam with pretty good pressure. It does take a few minutes to heat the chamber before use which was a concern I had initially, but the wait is negligible. You also have to let the chamber cool down before refilling, but I have been able to get the things I've needed, and then some, done on a tank at a time. So far I have no complaints about this product.
