  What long-lasting cleaning appliances are worth picking up?

  For me, a robot vacuum is really a great choice for handling floor cleaning. A friend gave me an ecovacs robot vacuum as a moving gift last month, and I found it really saved me a lot of cleaning time. I almost just set it to run on schedule, and it handles both vacuuming and mopping by itself.

  The most important thing is to find what works for you. I just got ecovacs x11, and after using it for a bit, I’m happy with it. The roller mop cleans well, and the dustbin is big enough for my place since I’ve got quite a lot of floor space.

  What are the Best Robot Vacuum Right Now?

  We own an ecovac t30 and it has been awesome, I like the spinning mops. We haven't had any issues and have had it for about 2 years now.

  Looking for an easier floor cleaner that actually lasts

  I’m guessing next month there will be a bunch of good, practical options. If you mostly need something for mopping, I think you could look into cleaners that are good at that, like a decent steam mop, a floor washer with a roller mop, or even a robot vacuum. I’ve tried a roller-mop robot vacuum myself, the ecovacs t80. I just set it running and it takes care of the floors, and it does a solid job with daily cleaning. You can check them out and see which one you like better.

  What’s a super boring purchase that ended up making your life easier?

  I got myself an ecovacs deebot just cuz I wanted to get something... and I'm glad it turned out to be very useful and does a decent job on cleaning :)

  I bought an ecovacs. I only had it for 6 months but there are no issues it vacuums and mops. I bought it because it had 2 spinning mops and I felt that is better than the back and forth mops.

  Best vacuum cleaner?

  # I finally got this [ECOVACS](https://x.com/IpkizzzGroup/status/1931775492631269878) vacuum cleaner and I absolutely love it! I have used other robot vacuums before, but this is hands down the best. Every day when I get home from work, I just turn it on and it vacuums and mops the entire house. I have two large dogs that shed a lot and it picks up all the hair without any problems. Now my house always smells fresh and clean. # It is impressive to see how it washes the mop pads and knows when to empty the dust bin itself - then it picks up right where it left off. I also set no-go zones on the map so it avoids my kids' messy rooms and doesn't pick up socks or other stray items. It heats its own water and has easy-to-fill and empty water tanks. Setup was very easy right out of the box, and it is much quieter than my previous Ion V4 vacuum cleaner.

  Do smart home items really work in long term?

  The product may not be BIFL coz robot vacuums are constantly improving. I remember my parents used to have an old robot that only mops with a pad and you have to wash the pad by yourself. Now the station of my ecovacs t30 is much better, with all the features that keep my hands free. I would say robot vacuum definitely changed our lifestyle, I will always get another if my robot dies.
