What have you used the most at home these two years?
I feel like this time of year is usually the best time to buy home stuff. I’ve been using a deebot t50 max robot vacuum, the suction is great to pick up small particles and messes, so I think it could probably handle the pet things you've mentioned. The mopping is also good, especially around the edges, it can get to those places I usually can’t clean on my own, which really fits my impression of it saving time, you can check it out.

Looking for an easier floor cleaner that actually lasts
We just got a robot vacuum this year. Our main floor is all hardwood, so we went with one that can mop pretty well. It’s got a roller mop, kind of like some handheld steam mops, but our deebot x8 runs on its own and saves me lots of cleaning time.

Do smart home items really work in long term?
Totally agree. My Ecovacs X8 Pro Omni has saved me a lot of time on floor cleaning. Robot vacuums are better for homes that are already fairly clean, and they’re not really meant for heavy-duty or post-renovation cleaning.
