Elva is pretty modular you could take most if not all. The only issue is you are designing it for the closet you have now, you would have to adjust for the closet of the future.

Elfa a great bet, strong modular easy to take apart and move with you. If you want a more furniture look modular wood systems like Easy Closets are pricier but still re-usable.

Solid wood is custom. That said we have Elfa from The Container Store and it's great, very flexible components for when your needs change, and they're having a sale right now. We have it in over ten spaces, the oldest pieces are probably 20 years old and are indistinguishable from the newer bits we've added into the mix.
