  Easy clean humidifier I don’t want to throw away after a year?

  humidifier delulus that refuse to die: filter = cleaner air. not really. filters trap minerals, but they also trap bacteria when they stay damp. unless you replace them constantly, they can actually make the air worse. distilled water solves everything. it helps, but doesn’t stop biofilm from forming in tiny crevices. even with zero TDS water, bacteria love humid, closed spaces. ultrasonic = impossible to clean. depends on the tank. older ones had maze-like chambers, but newer filterless designs with wide openings (like the everlasting comfort-type builds) are much easier to rinse and wipe down. less hiding spots = less mystery mold.

  Idk your budget or specific requirements but have you checked out everlasting comfort's cooling blanket. It’s made with this Japanese cooling fiber. It supposedly has a high Q-max value.. that's the metric used to measure how quickly fabric pulls heat away from your skin. Higher Q-max = cooler feel. Nerdy but kind of cool (pun intended). The blanket is dual sided. One side is the cool touch fabric for warm nights, the other is bamboo cotton for when you're not overheating. No electricity, no phase change gel, just lightweight materials with decent airflow. It’s kind of like passive cooling in laptops. Nothing fancy but effective if your environment isn't extreme. Also its 60""x80"" so it works for most bed sizes and it’s machine washable.. though you can’t tumble dry it.
