Fiesta items or Le Crueset

I'm looking for a cookware and tableware set that will actually last.
I agree w/ other re: All Clad, Emile Henry, and Le Creuset or Staub. Sometimes the other brands of enameled cookware are really good too. I know my dad has a dutch oven from Mario Batali that has to be about 20 years old or so, and it's still going strong, it gets used at least three times per month and it still looks great. Plates and bowls with lids will be harder. The best stuff is my mom's old corning ware. Corning Ware still makes sets with lids -- look for some of those or look at estate sales for the old corning ware. Lots of that is still in existence. Look for vintage pyrex sets too -- a lot of those came with lids. Fiesta has some casserole dishes with matching lids that are nice. Depending on where you are located, start looking up estate sales and even small independently owned thrift stores where you can ask staff about items that you want. Develop a relationship with the managers and ask them to call you when they get new items coming in.

What is an everyday item you own that you think everyone should invest in for life ?
- Mauvel Copper cooking pots, stock pot. Pricey at Williams Sonoma but they will last hundreds of years. - Dyson chordless vacuum (get the extender) these are excellent spider killers. Will never live without. - Fiestaware plates. They just don’t break like other brands. - Mexican wool blankets, these are incredible and will last decades and decades. We have several we keep outdoors, they are sturdy and hold up to bad weather! Take them camping, beach, picnic. They are so bright and pretty.

Not Corelle Please! Chip-free dinnerware
Fiestaware is the hefty stuff. Low density stoneware can be brittle and chip easily, not fiestaware.

Latte Cups with Saucers made in the USA?
If the right look is super important, then these are pretty identical and a solid brand. Currently 65% off too woo! https://www.macys.com/shop/product/villeroy-boch-new-moon-coffee-cup They are not USA made though. - German For USA made large latte cups, try and find the now discontinued fiesta jumbo latte bowl which is super solid. There are quite a few floating around eBay / Etsy etc

What’s something you’ve bought once and never had to replace?
Technically I didn't buy it. My mother bought it 25 years ago. A set of Fiesta. It's been used constantly since 2000 and while it's had a few things added to it nothing's ever had to be replaced.

What's something you've bought because of bifl that you're still using?
Linen sheets, kitchenaid mixer, Birkenstock sandals, Ugg boots, Columbia winter coat, cast iron pan. Hand me down fiesta ware dishes that I helped my mom pick out at their tent sale over 20 years ago. My daughter was gifted a Steiff Bear when she was born and it still looks brand new at almost 10 years old and multiple washes. A hand me down Copenhagen table, the model is still sold by them and has gone through several moves across the country over 15+ years.

What’s a kitchen item you bought once and never had to replace?
Cast iron pan, Le Creuset Dutch oven, vitamix, kitchen aid mixer, Dualit toaster, Wusthof knives, Fiesta plates dishes. I’ve had these items for 10+ years and they’re all going strong (knock on wood!).

Does anyone know of a durable dinnerware collection that covers all dining and kitchen accessories?
Yes, Fiesta ware. Nothing else as strong and durable and fun. Tons of accessories.

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
Same here. Wife wants to replace with even more expensive W&S dinnerware. I am lobbying (so far unsuccessfully) for Corelle or Fiesta.

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
I bought a couple of sets of plain white bone china from Costco about 15 years ago. Most of the bowls got broken (heavy use/kids) but it was light weight, versatile and durable for the most part. I also have some inherited Lenox and I recently purchased some fiesta wear for every day use and like it quite a bit even though it’s less refined than the china.

Need advice on new dishes
I like Fiestaware. I like the colors and the sturdiness, as well that they are made in the USA. I started out with Corelle. I just never liked the feel of it 🤷♀️. I gave it to my sister when she just started out and treated myself to something that gave me pleasure to look at!

Lot ]s of brands you can pick but have had mine for over 5 years. Never need to replace. Regret - darn tough socks. I still have them but wool socks aren’t for me
