Merino wool base layers - which are the most durable?
My First Lite t-shirt is 5 years running and it’s awesome. Avoid the graphic tee version, I think it’s 150 gram?

Merino wool base layers - which are the most durable?
Hunting companies are making some pretty great stuff with merino. I personally have really liked first lite. I would avoid stone glacier. I really love their great, and as much as their merino stuff was really great is wasn’t durable at all

Anyone keep a “BIFL Roster”?
Rad, im silly tall so i get stuck with companies that make 38" or 36" I seams but id love for patagonia to hop on that train. Can 10/10 recommend firstlite as well if you spend alot of time outside. I work as a truffle guide and mushroom forager and tromps in the woods alot and their stuff is proper bomber. You'll need to replace the occasional seam but if you don't mind a touch up every now and again, its awesome.

Coolest hoodie - zip up or pull over. No budget. Only amazing matters
My favorite: https://www.firstlite.com/products/mens-furnace-hoody.html?lang=en_US&dwvar_mens-furnace-hoody_color=conifer&cgid=hunting-baselayers-tops Very heavy weight merino wool. Soft and well made, but it's pricey and they have trouble keeping common sizes in stock

Recommendations for a glove liner that’s also good worn on its own? My ten-year-old Oakleys are finally tearing at the seams, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to sew them back up.
I ended up picking up a pair of smartwool liners from REI garage sale, but I wish I’d gone with the First Lite AeroWool (I think that’s what it’s called). The smartwool liners are warm and comfortable, and I’m not worried about water resistance so much as quick-drying which they do-but I don’t have the dexterity I had hoped I would because of how loose the fabric gets while wearing them.

In need of warm winter coat with a budget of $350-400
Duluth trading has some warm and hard wearing winter gear, easily in this budget. Alternatively, check some hunting gear makers like Sitka or First Lite. Your color options will be limited, but they make most of the outerwear in solid earth tones, not just camo...
