Let’s Talk Wirecutter: What Was Worth It and What Wasn’t?
Folex spray, then blotted with a washcloth 🤷 it’s my go-to, while my little green collects dust in a closet somewhere. I don’t think the little green was 100% a bad product, just too much hassle for the same outcome.

What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
Folex. Packaging is bland, so people look past it. But if you're smart, you'll but it by the gallon. I use it to spot-clean carpet, upholstery, and clothing...extending the life of countless things.

Spilled coffee on a canvas bag, looking to try to repair it. Any suggestions for subs that may help?
I'd specifically try Folex, it's a carpet cleaner, but the stuff basically makes stains disappear on any fabric Ive tried it on. You should be able to find it just about anywhere. I can't say for sure if it's good for canvas, but I've never sprayed it on something that ended up *worse* for having done it. I've used it in my car's headboard fabric, seats, couch cushions, carpets... Just try a small patch test area first. But I've yet to meet a stain Folex couldn't get out. Best of luck!
