  Yes, absolutely. I clean and protect my bags, keep them lightly stuffed with tissue paper to keep shape and in dust bags when Im not using them. That being said, I don't baby them at all. Most of the time theyre thrown in the top of the closet. When i'm using them, theyre thrown over my shoulder, on to the passenger seat, over the bannister, on the floor - my bags are USED. But they keep going. If I were in the markey for a mid-range bag right now, that I wanted to be sure would last, I'd def look at Fossil.

  Looking for purse recommendations!

  I know Fossil isn't going to be the most popular answer here but I also have Fossil bags that have held up well. One leather bag, one coated canvas bag from the Key-per line. You do have to take care of your bags, though -- keep them clean, give them a pass with an oiled leather sponge now and then, don't overpack them, etc.

  I have 20yo vintage Coach and Burberry that look as good as the day I bought them. I have Fossil and Lonchamp that have just surpassed the 10yr mark and both have held up incredibly well. Louis Vuitton leather, not canvas, just celebrated 5yo.

  I like Fossil. Used to be at the local mall but now at an Tanger outlet in west Michigan. Online available of course. The bags last so long. One is over 30 yrs, oxblood leather cross body strap. I don't baby it either, just mink oil. Used in colder months.

  I have a fossil wallet that’s 15 years old and the patina is gorg. I’ve always loved their leather goods but as a man their purses were too “pursey” for my taste is that makes sense. lol. Coach is also a solid pick but DO NOT go to the outlet. Buy a full price one and it will last forever

  I might be considered basic or something for this but my fossil bag has stood the test of time and I really love it. I have also heard good things about portland leather. Oh and my leather madewell tote has been amazing and it's HUGE.

  I don’t know why Fossil doesn’t get more love. My first big purse purchase (lol meaning dropping more than $50) was a nice Fossil leather messenger bag/“satchel” purse from TJ Maxx ($65 then, although now I see them on Fossil’s website for $200/$250ish) when I was doing a lot of travel for work and wanted something big enough to hold my work stuff, cute enough to wear on the weekends, and rugged enough to handle my throwing it into overhead bins and file drawers. Got a lot of comportments on it. 12 years on, and it’s still in great shape with a nice worn-in feel. I used it hard for 5 years, but eventually switched to a backpack when I changed jobs. I’ve also since added a leather keychain wallet from them about 2 years ago which I use everyday, and it’s still going strong. I like that they have good quality designs and construction, no obnoxious branding, and practical, utilitarian pieces that let the leather speak for itself. They’re meant to be used and not just sit daintily, covered in tissue paper and a special bag, in a climate-controlled closet.

  Fossil makes durable leather purses that don’t completely break the bank. I have a fossil wallet that I’ve had since high school, and a smaller Fossil wallet that I bought as an adult. Considering how I abuse my poor wallets, they’ve held up REALLY well.

  I love Fossil handbags, I think they are high-end, the leather is great, and they have lots of styles and colours. A lot of the bougie ones like LV are canvas, I have never understood why they are so expensive.

  Fossil genuine leather purses have lasted me over 2 decades. Always happy with them. Just be sure to properly treat your leather from time to time. It needs rehydration.

  I've used the coach small pebble leather wallet for almost 2 years still look new and the stitching never frayed. If you want something slim with an ID window, fossils Logan or quinn wallets are great and affordable. For top tier quality and real durable go for Bellroy super slim and premium feel.

  My fossil wallet lasted over 15 years, it’s still intact but a bottle of soda exploded in my purse so I wasn’t able to get it in-sticky. New one has held up for at least 3 years now and looks perfect.

  How do we feel about crazy horse leather wallets/accessories?

  Thats what I had before this one. A cardholder front pocket with money clip by fossil. Held up amazing for 10 years. Just decided to use more cash, and have been storing my wallet in my back pocket anyway. This ones priced very well, so its worth the 20ish bucks i paid, plus shipping. That was another 20 to Canada. Im gonna give it some more time then possibly get a minimalist cardholder in a different suede, then a slim front pocket by popov or saddleback. Doesnt hurt to have options, right?

  My dad and I both have Fossil brand leather wallets with a money clip, mine is about 2 years old and his is probably 8 or 9 now. No signs of distress past little scrapes in the leather that can be buffed out, they have options with the traditional fold for cash if you don’t love the magnetic money clip

  I have three leather wallets from Fossil. My daily carry is a [Derrick Execufold](https://www.fossil.com/en-us/products/derrick-execufold/ML3700200.html). When I wear a suit, I use my [Derrick Executive](https://www.fossil.com/en-us/products/derrick-executive/ML3683201.html). The first is ~15 years old. I bought the second ~35 years ago. Aside from a bit of patina, they're as good as new--no worn corners or frayed stitching. Six or seven years ago, I bought a [Sport Tourer Card Case](https://www.fossil.com/en-us/products/sport-tourer-card-case/ML4658001.html) to carry when I'm wearing shorts and don't want/need the bulkier Execufold. It holds my IDs, a couple cards, and has room for a few folded bills. It's proving itself to be as well made as my other two Fossil wallets.

  I had a leather pocket from Fossil that lasted 15+ years. I only stopped using it because I changed my purse and it didn’t match my vibe anymore. It had 3 slots and a wrist strap. I’d find the equivalent for men. What more do you need than 1-2 cards and an ID now a days. For the record I carry 2 credit cards, my ID and I just added my ATM card which I have literally never used.

It has enough card slots for my credit and debit card plus another slot that's perfect for my insurance cards. It also has a zippered pouch that you can keep some emergency cash in.

  Yes, I know, the rules: No Home-made items. My daily leather belt: A belt blank I bought (yay, not home made!) from a proper leather supplier. Buckle bought. Stitched it all up myself. Coloring done myself. Will never die. Ever. And I know how to fix it if something ever does. So yeah, your Fossil belt(s), based on my Fossil leather bag performance, will last a life time easy.
