my mom has used this same lint roller since the 70s.
The one and only thing I remember my mom buying from the Fuller Brush man. I still have the handled version of this lint brush. I used it just last week.

What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
A little thing. Electric hot water kettle. I'm American and was introduced to an electric kettle decades ago-why are we not using these in EVERY DANG HOUSE? A big thing. My Toyota. BORING BORING BORING. And will never die😂 Even smaller BIFL that I LOVE-an ancient Fuller Brush clothes brush for lint, dog hair...I bought it in freaking 1981 and use it ALL the time!

What’s something you’ve bought once and never had to replace?
1. I have a plastic Fuller Brush clothes brush/pet hair remover I bought in 1981. I still use it at least twice a month and it is in perfect condition. 2. I inherited a Descoware (bought back when Julia Child was singing the praises of Descoware over Le Crueset) dutch oven that I use weekly. It also looks perfect. 3. Henkels knives from the 60's-used daily. I've got more, but that's enough typing😂

What is the longest lasting item you've bought?
Funny you should ask. I used my Fuller Brush lint brush today. I got it in 1981.
