  Looking for washer dryer recommendations in Canada

  The GE Profile is also top ranked. It takes about 15 minutes longer to wash, but it gets the same cleaning results. It also has the terrific fresh vent system...if you have to keep the door closed it's pretty much the only game in town.

  Anyone using a countertop ice maker that's actually good?

  If it's on indiegogo, you can almost be certain that there are not enough units out there to get a true reliability test. Additionally, a *big* part of BIFL on electronic devices is the availability of parts as well as the continued support from the company, both of which are dubious from a startup. My advice would be to either go with something cheap from Frigidaire or Igloo, or to pony up the money for the GE Profile Opal.

  Looking for recommendations for Washer/Dryer combo

  GE Profile All-In-One. We ended up buying two (one for grammy in the basement apartment) because we loved the first one so much. Put in laundry at night, wake up to clean clothes.

  The most reliable ice maker brand?

  Fridge ice makers kinda suck for volume unless you go high-end. Standalone nugget ice makers (like GE Profile or Opal) are way better if your fam’s burning through ice. Just clean them every few weeks and you’re it'll last longer 👌

  3rd story Washer/Dryer

  Can you do a combo unit? I have the GE Profile and it's a side-loader, which I understood vibrated less because they don't spin on a vertical axis. It's also just all-around awesome

  What’s the Best Nugget Ice Maker?

  I’m on my 3rd Opal 2 in 3 years. I cleaned and maintained religiously per manual instructions. They tend to make it one year before some part fails. One time it stopped while still within the 1 year warranty window and I was able to get a refurbished replacement. Still an awesome ice maker - I wish it lasted longer.

  Gas range recommendations

  I have a slide-in GE Profile 6 burner double oven gas range with convection. I have been so happy with it and I am a pretty advanced cook. Not one issue. The ovens are true. The middle burners can also be a cast iron griddle which is what I use all the time for searing. It has Wi-Fi. It is more than enough for my needs without spending ridiculous dollars. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

  What's the oldest appliance you own?

  All of our GE Profile appliances in the kitchen are original to our house (2001) -Fridge -Wall Oven -Microwave -Dishwasher And then our Dacor gas stove top is also a 2001
