Need college laptop recommendation
My gigabyte aero is still going strong after 8 years. I game, virtualize several OSs at once (hacking), use game dev and 3d modeling software, and just general use. Its battery has gotten worse over the years 15h->3h but they sell replacement batteries. I just mostly use it as a desktop now though. I will probably get another one once i cant play games anymore. It already is hung up on some AAA games but its also old af (gtx1060).

What is the best laptop brand for long term use?
If you go lenovo, make sure it's ThinkPad specifically. Asus are generally good. Gigabyte also. I don't think I would really consider any other brands tbh.

What is the best laptop brand for long term use?
I bought a Gigabyte Aero 15W back in 2017. I still use it today. They've gotten better too and slightly cheaper. For YouTube and basic stuff I spent $400 on a Samsung Tab S10+ and you can use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo to get things done and portability.

What brands do you trust to always deliver a high quality product?
Used to work for a computer-builder type shop. Gigabyte was the only Motherboard brand we consistently had no issues with. Everyone else (MSI, ASUS, Asrock etc) were generally \*good\* but we got far more instances of dead boards, finicky issues with the BIOS on certain processors and general faffing about to get things to go. That said the support for all of them was trash, we just liked Gigabyte because we rarely had to use theirs!
