  My favorite hoodie is a plain Gildan one, and it gets better and better with wear. It doesn’t have any holes or damage to it after 500000 washes. Another good one that is more expensive is North Face. Their hoodies are great quality and they have plain options

  Check OEM brands - example place to buy them is Wordans. Look for 6Oz 100% ringspun and combed cotton. Example models are Gildan Hammer, and BellaCanvas 3010 - they go for $5/piece and have much cheaper cost/wear than $50 ones.

  Ordered the gildab g1103 6 pack off amazon. Loved them. Got another pack and threw out all my old white shirts. Got vneck, which isnt super deep V, but enough that its hidden when wearing a collared shirt. Decently thick shirts, shrink when washed first time, but true to size, just looked big out of the package. Im a fan.

  There was a similar question yesterday so I'll just repost my reply: Gildan G-1100. I know what you're thinking, they're $5 a piece, how good can they be? Well, I thought so too when I bought a 6-pack 2 years ago. Since then I've: 1. Worn them to Burning Man - twice 2. Worn one every day to work for a year 3. Worn one a couple of times a week in the summer evenings 6 out of 6 are still in good condition. No holes, no shrinkage, collar still looks good. I thought they'd go straight in the trash after the first Burning Man but 2 years later they're still going strong. Here's the exact ones I bought.   OEM brands - they cost $5/piece and are 90% of what $50+/piece ones offer - you are hitting point of deminishing returns, and you need to repleace underwear at some point anyway. Gor for 6 Oz 100% brushed and combed cotton - example store to buy them is Wordans, but you can google specific garments name for more options. I use Gildan Hammer since its the cheapest widely aviable thing in my country.

  Best basic tees that actually last?

  If you want something that actually lasts, go for heavier-weight cotton. Uniqlo U (not the regular Uniqlo tees) are solid, dense, don’t twist after washing, and survive a stupid amount of cycles. If you want even better: Hanes Beefy-T or Gildan Hammer. Not fancy, but they’re tanks. Longevity is mostly fabric weight + how you wash (cold wash, low heat dry).

  Men’s underwear that actually lasts does it exist?

  Gildan mens boxer briefs off Amazon. Bought 2 packs a year ago. They don't ride, don't pill, and the elastic is awesome. I do construction, and they hold up to sweat. Highly recommend.

  This may not be to your liking but they are huge https://www.amazon.com/Gilden-Waffle-Towels-Oversized-Classic/dp/B07JQDHS87/ It's designed to shrink in the wash and then it becomes tighter and more absorbent. And dries out quickly. It's not exactly plush or luxurious but the sheet size is really big, like really big even after shrinking, and that has a certain luxury feel to it. Nobody likes a small bath towel.

  Likely made different here. Or, our other choices really really suck compared to elsewhere, both are possibilities. Ours are a heavier naterial than the 2 biggest name brands i listed, but the cut doesn't vary from what i would consider an average tee, so they fit like an average tee. Not odd. Never had a fit problem with a tee myself other than some weird form fitting athletic tees i thrifted once. THOSE tees lasted forever, but i hated the form fitting thing. No idea what brand they were. Hanes and Fruit of The Loom are the 2 largest mass produced brands here, found in every department store in bundles of 5 or 6. They used to be good tees for the price, but of late they are getting crappy. I have Hanes tees we bought at the same time as the latest gildans (because Hanes makes the pocket tee, and hubby needs those equally to non pocket). Despite very similar wash and wear periods under similar circumstances, the pocket tees are fading and the pockets and collar are not looking great on the hanes. Same color gildans are holding up fine.

  Probably where you are buying them? I have bought concert t-shirts and some Life Is Good recently and they are holding up great. No collar issues! I believe the concert ones have mostly been Gildan and Comfort colors.

  They do look good but had a glance at the price - $45AUD for one pair. I get 10 pairs of Gildan boxer briefs off Amazon for $80 and they are super comfortable. Not sure I'd pay 5X for something else.

  Honestly I just buy plain black Gildan Heavy Cotton shirts at my local craft chain. They're regular $6(CAD) and are often on sale for $4 or BOGO. I know that people complain about them sometimes when bands use them to print their shirts on, but I honestly love the fit and how they feel, as I don't love when a shirt is too soft because then I feel like they're clinging to me. It's not exactly a BIFL proposition, they hold up decently given how much I wear/wash them. They do fade a little over time, but nothing too bad - I may throw out one or two a year but they also make great rags once they get worn out.

  This is a good point. I will edit my Gildan 64000 recommendation elsewhere in the -- thread, haha. Some colors are 100% cotton, and others are a cotton/polyester blend.

  Gildan brand heavy cotton tee shirts are the secret to getting comfy tees that will last forever. They're usually in little boxes in the tye dye section at Wal-Mart. These shirts are cheap AF, last forever, generally dont fade, and only get softer with age.

  Recommendations for Boxer Briefs

  Gildan 10 pack 100% cotton boxers are very comfy and cost 26$ total. 2.6$ each. Last time I bought them was 3 years ago and they are starting to get thinner and some have holes. I'd say 3 years is pretty good for underwear. YMMV of course. Haven't tried more expensive ones because these meet my needs perfectly.
