Clothing pill remover?
I literally knit for a living and use almost exclusively natural fibres. A gleaner or similar device is the best choice. I find sweater stones wear the fabric unevenly. The electric ones suck, can easily snag very fine fabrics and so on. The gleaner you can use for ever and replace the heads as needed. I haven’t replaced the heads on mine in 5 years and it’s still going. I swap between the different heads based on what needs shaving.

Been using the Gleener fabric shaver for like 3 years now and that thing is a tank. No batteries needed - it's basically just different fabric edges you scrape with. Takes a bit more elbow grease than the electric ones but it'll outlast any battery powered piece of junk and works amazing on cashmere

Help with a purchase
Have you thought about getting a manual one. I kinda guess it's more durable since there's nothing electrical inside, especially the battery. Search Gleener on Amazon. Maybe you'll like it.
