GoodNotes is incredible. I use it mainly to journal using my Apple pencil onto a paper feel screen overlay. it’s a really cool way to take notes and it can learn your handwriting, do math problems etc. i’ve had it for several years and i believe the lifetime license was under $20.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
GoodNotes on iPad. Paid once, and it replaced like 10 physical notebooks for me. Worth it just for the search feature in handwritten notes.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
CoinKeeper (expense tracking), AdGuard Premium, AdBlock (this is such a generic name ik, but I can tell you which one if you use iOS), Mela+ (the BEST for recipe management, it’s my holy grail). Plex (never paying a cent to Netflix again). Productivity: GoodNotes, Forest (app for focus). All lifetime/single purchases. All are used pretty much every day or close to it. These are also lifetime/single purchase but uses less frequently (still worth it, just don’t use them on daily as much): Dazz Pro (pic effects), Procreate.
