Goth/Punk-style combat boot recommendations?
Grenson is another option for the styles you’re looking for. Some of their shoes have been moved to the manufacturing lines in India, however. Solovair is still all made in UK.

supportive shoes that are also BIFL?
Quoddy makes more women’s styles. Subu or Bedrocks for slip-on type of shoes. Grenson, Tricker’s, Crockett and Jones, Rolling Dub Trio, etc., for everything else. Carmina if you can find anything that’s not made in the last couple years. Definitely look for the Japan-based shoemakers too, sizing is usually unisex. There is a thread on r/Goodyearwelt for women’s shoes.

Boots of this style that aren’t made in China ?
Head over to r/PNWbootmakers or r/goodyearwelt. Short answer, off the top of my head — U.S. -> Wesco, White’s, Drew’s, JK’s, Truman’s, Nick’s, Carter’s Boots, Oak Street, etc. (Wolverine and Red Wing are the lowest tier I’d go, personally, if they’re made in the U.S.) Canada -> Dayton, Canada West, Viberg Japan -> rolling dub trio, wheel robe, countless options UK / EU -> Tricker’s, Grenson, Cheaney, Crockett and Jones, Vass, Solovair, Iron Boots Australia -> R.M Williams, Redbacks

Sneakers or boots for daily wear.
What you’re looking for is shoes that can be repaired, look for the shoemakers with more casual styles (but not all models are welted). For example: https://www.grenson.com/shop-mens/shop-by-collection/all-mens-footwear/

Anyone know of good quality, ok priced Oxford shoes? (UK)
For £150 you could opt for a used pair of ‘good’ shoes - maybe some Crockett & Jones or Trickers (or if you’re lucky John Lobb or Edward Green perhaps, but they tend to go for more). Trickers will last and last if that’s what you’re looking for. Sliding down the scale a little you’d definitely get some Barkers or Loake, maybe two or three pairs for your money. You’ll could also consider brands like Grenson and Cheaney, but in my experience they tend to be more fashion forward and less well made. If you want new - Charles Tyrwhitt sell their own brand Oxfords for £149 - their ‘Made in England’ line are made for them by Barker, their other lines are Loake.

Some good articles for Europeans?
Victorinox tomato knives for every purpose. Antler luggage is very good. There's also the UK brands for shoes - Church's, Crockett and Jones, Grenson, Loake etc
